1v1 me scrub!

Great adaptation from the classic version of Bang! At first it seems a little complex because each person controls two characters but, it actually plays quite smoothly and is a great addition to anyones' collection of Bang! 5 stars!

As a huge fan of the original Bang! I was skeptical right off the bat...I still don’t know how I feel about it. It is entertaining, sure, but it is SO different from the original. Names of cards, actions, etc. Meh.

Difficult to play

The idea for this game was great, but they've made it too complex. Being a veteran bang! Player, the changes to the cards were confusing and the directions weren't very helpful. It took about an hour to get through 2-3 turns just trying to decypher the card meanings and method of play. Would not buy again.

Disappointingly bad

I work in a place where we play a lot of games as a team-building, stress-relieving exercise. One of my direct reports was always raving about how much fun Bang! was, but we never had four people to get a game going. When I found Bang! The Duel, I was excited. After several attempts to play it, however, the conclusion is that it is confusing and overly-complicated. Even after several attempts, the learning curve never got better. It was always someone saying, "wait, crap, we forgot to..." or "what the heck does this mean," or worse still, "my card and your card seem to contradict each other; what do we do?" This was after trying to figure this out with a veteran Bang! player. I finally got a group together to play the original Bang!--what a difference. Bang! is fun, fast-paced, easy-to-learn, and pretty deep with a lot of replay value. There are thousands of silly moments of double entendres, as well as some pretty intense moments that bring to mind the final duel in The Good the Bad and the Ugly. Bang! the Duel just isn't anywhere near that. It's quite the opposite, in fact. It's tedious, with constant rule-checking and head-scratching. It's complicated and non-intuitive. It's just plain not fun.

Gioco spettacolare!

Gioco da tavolo (1 contro 1) davvero bellissimo, di cui consiglio ampiamente l'acquisto! La fortuna ha la sua importanza nella fase di pesca delle carte, ma è di fatto la componente strategica a caratterizzare questo gioiellino (meglio essere colpiti o "mancare"? quale personaggio rendere attivo e in quale momento?....scelte assolutamente da valutare con attenzione) Giocando più partite, le tattiche si affinaneranno sempre di più, e il divertimento e la competitività cresceranno a dismisura (spesso si vince o si perde per un soffio...quindi ogni scelta di giocata ha davvero un certo peso) Rispetto al Bang tradizionale chiaramente viene meno l'incognita di "chi è chi" (sceriffo, vice, fuorilegge e rimmegato) tra i partecipanti; ma a mio avviso ne guadagna molto in strategia e longevità (le tue scelte sono determinanti per il semplice fatto che è un "1 contro 1", mentre spesso nel bang a tanti giocatori si pagano le conseguenze di mosse sbagliate o randomatiche di altri partecipanti)

Un po' complicato

Dopo anni che gioco alla versione classica, ho voluto provare la versione DUEL. Che gran casino! Bang già di per sé ha bisogno di molto allenamento prima di essere giocato "piacevolmente" perchè pieno di carte che cambiano gli effetti, che valgono solo per certe situazioni. Avendo giocato per anno al classico, pensavo le modifiche fossero minime, invece mi sono ritrovata un altro quantitativo di regole e cose da ricordare non da poco.

Un BANG su misura per due giocatori. BELLO

Versione di Bang per due soli giocatori. Il gioco è divertente e ben strutturato. La gestione di due personaggi contemporaneamente rende il gioco più strategico e più longevo. Conoscere le dinamiche del classico Bang aiuta..Lo consiglio quindi agli appassionati del classico Bang anche se non è un gioco particolarmente difficile neanche per chi si approccia per la prima volta. Consigliato.

Ingiocabile se non si conosce bang

Per me e mio figlio impossibile da giocare. Forse si da per scontato che si conosca alla perfezione il gioco natio. Le istruzioni sono 5 o 6 paginette confuse attraverso le quali, a mio parere, è possibile comprendere le dinamiche del gioco. In rete ci sono un paio di video ma anche questi partono dal presupposto che uno conosca bang... Una grande delusione soprattutto per mio figlio. Ho fatto l'errore di non restituirlo nella speranza di riuscire ad imparare il gioco ma non c'è stato verso...

Gioco di carte in ambiente western consigliato

Gioco in scatola per 2 persone non molto famoso, ma cmq divertente! Interessante l'ambientazione western, molto bella e curata la grafica delle carte e del gioco in generale. Ci sono numerose regole e variabili che necessitano qualche partita per essere capite e applicate tutte; nel giro cmq di 4/5 partite si riesce ad entrare nell'ambiente e a godere del gioco, sfidando a duello il tuo avversario!
