Comfortable

These shows are comfortable for work. I normally wear a size 11 I have wide feet so I got an 11w and they fit good I can work all day and they don’t hurt my feet.

Go up half a size if you wear thick socks

My feet are not wide but these shoes are a little tight and rubbed my small toe when I first got them. I tend to wear thick socks, so if you wear thin socks, you may not have this problem. The shoes are well made and fit very well everywhere else. I used stretchers to give myself a tiny bit more room in the toes and they seem fine now. They look like they should hold up very well and continue to look nice for a long time. The finish is waxed and I suspect that they might waterspot but I don't think that it will be difficult to blend the water spots with a little wax. The soles are nice and thick with good traction, and do well on uneven, rocky surfaces.

Runs small.

Eastlands are well made and good looking shoes. Unfortunately run small. Returned.

Already scuffing

I bought the wide pair as recommended which I'm glad I did because I could imagine them fitting tightly I had not. They're pretty comfortable but I bought these for a serving job and they've already scuffed after two weeks.

Love, love, these shoes

I have had a couple pair of these shoes in Brown, so when it was time to reorder I ordered another pair of Brown and a pair of black. These shoes are so cute w/ jeans or slacks, well worth the money, an absolute must have in my shoe closet.

Need full size up.

I purchased the shoes a half size too large to use with inserts. I tried four different sets of inserts and none of them work with the shoes. The area for the heel is too slim for any inserts. The toe box is tight without the inserts so much so that I was unable to put my foot in the shoe with two of the sets of inserts. The shoes are very stiff. Super stiff. They almost feel stiff as steel toe shoes.

You might want to order up 1/2 size!

I LOVE the look of these shoes. They go with almost every outfit to add a fisherman-grunge vibe. They're a gorgeous deep chestnut brown and are already developing character through lighter creases (I like this feature - if you don't you may want to treat the leather somehow before you wear them). They started out stiff across my toes and on the sides of the heel, but have softened and I did not experience any blistering during the break-in process. I have another pair of Eastland oxfords (the name of the style is Pandora) in a size 7, which is my usual size for almost all shoes. For these Plainviews I ordered a size 7.5 after reading reviews, and I'm glad I did! I think a size 7 would've been too small both in width and length, and I have fairly narrow feet. I totally recommend these shoes, just consider ordering up a 1/2 size.

Poor leather quality

They started off super comfy. 4 days later the right shoe started to almost crack just below the big toe. Cheap leather?

Favorite work shoe

My absolute favorite work shoes. They fit comfortably from day one. No breaking in. Lasted about a year and a half of daily use in office setting. My previous pairs lasted even longer. This is my 4th pair of this brand & style since about 10 years ago. This pair is only slightly different from my previous pair, but feel just as comfortable. Fit well around my narrow foot. Glad I was able to find them online.

good shoes

Although the shoe is slightly long and a bit narrow for a wide shoe, they are really comfortable. They have good support. They seem to stretch nicely and the toe box is nice and roomy. Nice leather too.
