De Eaton SI10P-V SKYE 1000-Watt 3-Way Single-Pole Full Slide Decorator Dimmer zorgt voor soepel, glijdend dimmen over het volledige bereik voor gloeilampen en magnetische laagspanningsverlichting. No larger than a switch

In the downstairs ref room we had 7 canister lights operated by a reostat from the 5’s that went bad. Two different electricians did not want to replace it. I found yours on line, the wattage exceeded what I needed for incandescent bulbs. Using led’s the circuit draws 105 watts. Big safety margin. Went together great. Now our ceiling lights work again.

Appears to be good solid switch that handles higher wattage applications

Used this to replace an existing dimmer switch that didn't last a year. A typical dimmer switch is rated for 600 watts. We have a string of low wattage incandescent bulbs on the patio that at full brightness pulls 500 watts. This switch is rated for 1000 watts and seems to handle the load nicely. Nice action on the dimmer slide and the switch is lighted making it easy to locate.

Good dimmer

I needed a thousand watt incandescent dimmer for a bathroom where a Lutron dimmer had failed. I initially thought of replacing it with the same Lutron model, but the price was over $70 (crazy for a manual incandescent dimmer) and our Lutrons have not held up well (we have many around the house). This Eaton dimmer got good reviews and was much less expensive so I thought I would give it a try. It has now been in use now for a few months and I am quite happy with it. It seems like a good product.

Quality high wattage dimmer switch.

This switch replaced a dimmer switch used for 5 overhead kitchen flood lights. The wattage rate is much higher than the switch it replaced, which stopped working. Break off tabs made it easier for installation because it was being mounted in a multi gang switch box.

If you have more to dim

If you have need of a higher wattage dimmer this might fit the bill. Happened to match the other dimmers throughout the house.

Works well with 6 flood lights

I have a room with 6 incandescent flood lights so I needed a dimmer that would handle that load. The Eaton SI10P-W Skye works perfectly. It easily carries the load and dims the lights perfectly.

Excellent dimmer. Works great

Excellent dimmer. Works great, and 1000 watts too. Using it in a small switch box with cords connected to dim my Christmas Tree lights down. Still using incandescent bulbs, so, this makes them glow really nice and low in the living room at night in the dark. Otherwise, they would be blasting way too much light on us. Don't want the lights to be too big of a distraction while watching TV. Thanks.

I had to replace my previous dimmer, as it was unable to handle dim 10 9W lights! and always had noise inside the dimmer. I decided to replace it with this dimmer and I see now the difference! Great product!

Works good.

I have 15 pot lights that are hooked up to one switch. Yes I know that’s likely too many but I was using a 600w dimmer that got really hot to touch. I instead bought this 1000w dimmer. It’s easy to install but be aware it doesn’t have a green ground wire just the small green bolt. You will need to get a ground wire connection to the box. Overall really happy. Doesn’t get too hot and looks good.

Got previously opened item. Dirty with fingerprints

Product arrived in damaged packaging. Had dirt and finger prints on it. Was obviously opened previously and/or a returned item. Hoping it works ok when I install it after cleaning it. Update: Upon installation, found the slider dimmer is mechanically broken/detached inside the unit. Past return window, my fault there I guess.
