Plaats uw EcoPlus® dompelpomp in deze filterzak om te voorkomen dat bezinksel deze verstopt. Het zorgt ook voor een probleemloze watercirculatie en elimineert verstopte druppelaars of emitters. Het gebruik van de filterzak verlengt de levensduur en vermindert het schoonmaken/onderhoud van de pomp. Een must have voor elke pomp! Om schoon te maken, spoelt u de filterzak gewoon af onder schoon stromend water. Dit moet regelmatig worden gedaan om het water vrij door de zak te laten stromen. De EcoPlus®-pompfilterzak is gemaakt van zwaar fijn filtergaas met versterkte kraag en heeft een trekkoordsluiting voor snelle en gemakkelijke toegang tot de pomp. Keeps Out the Grit

I am using this filter over a pump in a shallow spring. It keeps the pump impeller clean and the pump working when there is mud and grit worked up in the spring water by the pump action. Does what it is supposed to do, and I am happy not to have to take the pump apart to clean it. My only complaint is having to clean the filter itself. Ha, like tht it not going to be needed in dirty water.

Not exactly

The EcoPlus Pump Filter Bag is advertised to be 10" x 12.5" and is not. The opening is only 9", not even close. It's a fine material, which will catch the smaller particles I wanted to keep out of my misting system. It was pictured originally with the PAL3100 pump (you know, in the "Frequently Bought Together" section) so I thought it would fit. It does fit, sort of. I can get it around the intake, but it won't go around the whole pump. The Hydrofarm Active Aqua Submersible Pump Filter Bag, 10.5" x 13.125" that I have has a zippered top and won't go on at all. Made for a smaller pump, with which it works fine.

Cloged pump

I have a fountain and the pump gets clogged always from debris what a pain in the A-- , so I bought this item and put the pump In it and have not cleaned it since. now at least two months I wish they made a smaller one but it fits and probably helps in the filtration anyway. when I close the fountain for the winter I will see how dirty it is but the pump will be clean. If this helps anyone good it helped me a lot at least 10 pump cleanings. Buy it and save yourself some work.

Great product... less cleaning of pump foam filter.

After about 2 weeks the pump's output had slowed to a trickle. I pulled the pump, inclosed in the bag out, hosed it off thoroughly, dropped it back in the water and the flow was 100% again. I am going to buy one for my other pond as well.

Simple filter

I got this to enclose a small 400 GPH pump in a 100 gallon pond. I did have to poke a hole in the side for the tube going up to the waterfall. Also put some plastic mesh (or you could use chicken wire) inside the bag so it doesn't impede the water flow through the pump. So far it's working fine. I haven't cleaned it off yet, but will have to lift it all out & hose it off whenever it gets too gooped up. I've had it installed for about 7 weeks. Would be nice if the drawstring had some kind of clip on it to secure it tightly around the pump.

Good filter bag

I use this on myEcoPlus Submersible Pump - 633 gph . The bag does a great job filtering out small particles from attaching/going into the pump. As stated by the other reviewer you will have to put something in the bag to keep it of the pump and prevent it from obstructing the water flow. Without something inside the big you will have to remove the bag every other day to clean it or else the flow rate of your pump will drop. The bag is a mesh type bag lined with a foam/cotton type material. it really works very well as a filter.

Very effective at keeping debrie from entering the pump

An incredible time saver. My wife bought a fountain and placed it in the garden under some vegetation. I was having to clean out the pump every two days. After using this bag I clean it out maybe once every 6 weeks. It's a shallow fountain base (10 inches?) so the bag would be very visible if I didn't have a mister in the base. With the mister you can't see the water or the bag.
