Onze collecties plafondmedaillons zijn gemodelleerd naar originele historische patronen en ontwerpen. Onze ambachtslieden snijden vervolgens met de hand een origineel stuk. Omdat elk stuk met de hand is gesneden, is het rijk gedetailleerd met diep reliëf, scherpe lijnen en een echt uniek tintje. Dat meesterwerk wordt vervolgens gebruikt om een vormmeester te maken. Zodra de malmaster is gemaakt, gebruiken we ons urethaanschuim met hoge dichtheid om elk medaillon te vormen. De afgewerkte look is een prachtig gedetailleerd, lichtgewicht, solide constructie, centraal stuk. De gelijkenis met originele gipsmedaillons wordt alleen bereikt door gebruik te maken van onze urethaan met hoge dichtheid en niet vacuüm gevormde medaillons van het plastic type. Medaillons kunnen worden gesneden met behulp van standaard houtbewerkingsgereedschap om een gat toe te voegen voor elektrische of een plafondventilator. Perfect for covering wiring for former ceiling light!

Perfect for covering wiring of former ceiling light. Easy to paint and design to match rooms decor. I used craft paint, crackling and a sealer for my finishing. Adhered to ceiling with Locktite power grab.

Unique medallion

These medallions are pretty unique compared to most of the round options out there. I was going for an art deco look for my 1930's era townhouse. Very simple and sleek. I used in the living room for a ceiling fan and in the dining room for a chandelier. My contractor ended up cutting out the middle area so you could access the box and wires. It also took some work since the design leaves the back "open" and it would bow in if you tighten down the light fixture against the medallion. We designed a wood piece that we fit in behind the medallion so that we could tighten down the fixtures against it. I have gotten many compliments from all who have seen them in place.

Beautiful contemporary medallion

I was looking for an oblong or oval contemporary design for my contemporary kitchen ceiling (difficult to find). Someone had removed a light fixture and left a hole with electrical wires showing. My order arrived in quickly , double packed and in perfect condition. I am very pleased with the quality of construction and weight of the piece. I think it will adhere to the ceiling with a simple construction adhesive and possibly braces from the floor to secure it. A perfect purchase for me.

Gets the job done

It’s hard to believe that something made of styrofoam could be so pricey. This feels like the top lid of a foam cooler. However, it did the trick for exactly what I needed to cover a recessed light hole and convert to a hanging chandelier. Caution: when you hang this be careful of indenting the item. Because it’s a foam material it can get damaged easily. I did end up repainting it due to all the nicks it got while hanging.

Used!

I had to sand and re-paint this medallion as it was obviously a used product. However I made it work after spending 30 minutes sanding and re-painting.

This is a great solution if you want to replace a light fixture that the base of it isn’t round

Looks great and simple to install!

My father and I wanted to install a light in the dining room, but didn’t want to fully patch the hole. This was the most affordable option compared to local Hardware stores. This medallion is a good size and works for longer fitting light fixtures. It did come with a minor scuff on it but once painted over, it was just fine! It's light, and fits well for the space we used it in.

Good purchase

Item was as described. Size was perfect for our application. The only thing I did not like was the numerous small and some larger flaws in the finished product. They can be patched, but at the price charged, this piece should have been flawless. It worked for us and the imperfections will be fixed prior to painting. Otherwise a nice purchase.
