Pretty jar

Bought this jar for ice tea… The instructions say not to over tighten the spigot, but I found that my first go around it was not tight enough and leaked all over my refrigerator. I have since rectified my own user error, and have had no issues. It's very pretty, and look forward to lots of ice tea during the summer

Manufacturer is unresponsive

Accidentally broke lid after having it for few days. Should have packed it back up and returned it! I sent a message to the manufacturer 2 times, with no response at all, asking if I could buy a new lid. Amazon messaged me to ask if the manufacturer resolved my issue..I said no response at all. That was the end of it…..nothing from manufacturer or Amazon! The glass jar is heavier than I expected, but works great for our sun tea.

Metal lock need adjusted

The container is the perfect size with the description. The spout was fitted properly with no leaks. But when it came to tightening the lid the metal clasp did not hold it down entirely. My husband ended up adjusting the clasp for it to fill latch down without springing back up.

It does what it's supposed to.

I'd recommend not putting hot liquids (sun tea) in it, I've a feeling it might crack - But for cold drinks it works wonders. The metal part on it is NOT a handle for carrying, it's strictly for clamping the lid down. Do yourself a favor and buy a metal spout to use with this. The cheap plastic spout is laughable.

Doesn't leak!

I wanted a water station for my toddler and so I needed something that she could operate to get her own water. This fits the bill. The metal clasp is a bit flimsy but the glass is good.

Does the job

For some reason glass sun tea jars are hard to find right now. This one does the job, but the clamp for the locking lid likes to come apart. It is not that difficult to reassemble it, but it shouldn't happen. It makes me wonder how long it will last.

Not a handle.

Not stainless steel spigot, and what looks like a handle isn’t a handle. I was hoping to use this for my second fermentation for kombucha hoping that the seal would hold in the CO2 but it’s not an airtight seal either. I found one similar that has more of an airtight seal, does have a handle for transport- still not a stainless steel spigot but I replaced it with one. This is a good product for water or juices. I didn’t want to give it a bad review and I originally gave it 3 starts but changed it to 4 because I was looking for something specific but this didn’t fit the bill, however it is still a good product for the price!
