This is the first jigsaw puzzle I ever did not complete! And, you'll notice I am listed as a top reviewer for jigsaw puzzles, so you know I've bought and finished a lot of puzzles. I got it all finished except the farmer's jacket. The problem is the is a large monochrome area. All of the pieces have the same basic shape, two knobs on the end, two sockets in the middle. Therefore you get no clue from the piece shape. Then the quality of the fit is really, really poor. So many times, I wasn't sure if I had the correct piece or not. For most of the puzzle, I was able to figure it out by the picture, but though I tried and tried for days, I could not get the farmer's jacket. Then I discovered that Pomegranate Puzzles also has the American Gothic image as a puzzle. It's sold here on Amazon. I'm told their puzzle pieces aren't all the same basic shape. So, I have ordered that puzzle. I really did enjoy doing this picture, because I felt like I learned so much about the famous painting while spending time on the puzzle. Hoping that the second puzzle will be doable. I've done Eurographic puzzles before and did not have this problem. I don't know why this puzzle did not have the variety of shapes their puzzles usually have, or why the pieces fit so poorly. It's almost like they had another company make this for them. It is certainly not up to their usual standards. Of course, I will review the second puzzle when I finish that one.

not good quality

I have put together many jigsaw puzzles over the years, and this one wins the prize as the worst! The quality of the cuts are out of whack and not all of the pieces fit together properly. There was even an edge piece missing. After working on it for 5 days with 2 other people, we finally decided to cut our losses, the frustration level was too high and the anticipated enjoyment of seeing this famous painting recreated was depleted. Don't be fooled by the museum quality wording, it's a hoax!! I'm sticking with Ravensburger.

This puzzle was a bit harder but very enjoyable! Arrived in great condition and in good time.

Le tessere hanno tutte la stessa forma

Il soggetto è bello, anche se non ha la ricchezza di dettagli dei quadri rinascimentali e manieristi, che sono i migliori perché la ricostruzione garantisce continue scoperte. Le tessere sono di qualità molto buona e si incastrano quasi alla perfezione. Questo risulta necessario dato che hanno tutte la stessa forma, a sei punte. La difficoltà nelle zone monocromatiche, la tuta dell'uomo in particolare, è quindi superiore a quella prevista, ma nel complesso non è un puzzle difficile.
