Tough!

Great puzzle. One of the most difficult I have done. Many pieces are completely or nearly white, including most of the border. All pieces were there. My box art was clear with no issues. -1 star for no included reference poster.

Challenging!

I do a lot of puzzles and I wanted a puzzle which would not go together in a weekend. This was it! It probably took me two months to complete this. I did get a little tired of birds at the end, but that goes with the territory. For extra difficulty, I admit I did not look at the box as I put it together. The construction of the pieces was good and they fit together reasonably well (all fully interlocking). My only complaint is that in places, more than piece will appear to be a match. When this happened on the border, it took until the very end to sort it out. Still, that was kind of fun. A very good buy overall.

Challenging and rewarding puzzle

This puzzle was a unique challenge in having levels of high detail surrounded by white. While the pieces are on the smaller side for puzzles, there were not too many entirely white pieces, inclusive of the border. Another review noted that the cover graphic is of poor quality, which it unfortunately is (perhaps someone forgot to embed the image file?) but the other box graphics and importantly the puzzle itself is of exceptional quality and clarity. The quality of the bird images are as if they are from a Sibley guide. This puzzle took approximately 10 days to complete, working with moderate effort a couple of hours each day. It is probably too challenging for children. The pieces don't fit with a satisfying feel, but do fit securely and you are confident in their placement, I think the issue may be how the pieces are cut leaving some dust and loose ends. I would recommend this purchase if you are considering it, it is now one of my favorites in our collection.

Love it.

This is the hardest puzzle I have ever had. I usually finish a 2000 piece puzzle in about a week. I have been working on this one for over 4 weeks and I am only a little over half done. Love it.

Poor Quality

I was really looking forward to doing this puzzle. I just started with the perimeter and I’m so disappointed in the quality. Pieces don’t fit together properly, it’s very flimsy and the quality of the picture on the box is so pixelated I can hardly tell what the colors are.

A beautiful challenge.

I can't say I won't be missing pieces as I'm not done with it, but it sure is a lot of fun to do in the meantime. Colors are beautiful, print is clear and pieces lock in very well. A very nice way to learn about birds' colors, shapes and details, and funny to create unreal ones when trying to piece 'em together! hehe. So glad I got this one.

Great puzzle

Really enjoying this puzzle, almost finished it. I see some people have had blurry images on the lid but thankfully mine is clear. Its a challenging puzzle but it helps to have some knowledge of NA avifauna but by no means essential. Recommend.

Very good, but...

Very hard but funny to do. Two bad considerations: poor quality of pictures on the box and, if you know well your birds, you can't trust the scale as presented, by the way, some little birds are bigger than other birds whom are certainly bigger in reality.

A very challenging, large puzzle really not helped by the very poor quality image on the box lid. Luckily I'm very good at my North American bird identification but, if you weren't, this puzzle would be a serious test of your patience
