Exceptional meter, but top breaks off very easy and sensor falls out

Great meters, super quick readings and accurate as well. I give a low rating because I am exceptionally careful with my tools and meters, and like another reviewer mentioned, the tops break off these and the sensor falls out. The fix is almost half the product cost new, and doesn't stop it from happening again. It's a shame that such a great meter is flawed by such a simple design oversight. If you can treat this thing well as fragile it is, it's a great meter, buy it. Still one day you'll accidentally set it down a little too hard and you'll find out why I consider it a sunk cost and buy a different meter.

There is a sensor chip in the top that can easily come out

I work in the water remediation industry. I have several of these. There is a sensor chip in the top that can easily come out. There are little copper connectors that hold the sensor in place. Well, they come out and break off. I have FIVE meters that are useless to prove it. It costs $150 to get them fixed. FIXED?! All they do is swap out the sensor. They won't let you buy the part to do it yourself. If you want a meter that will last about a year and will sit a a foam case and never get used than this is the meter for you. If you work in an industry that needs durability in their meters stay FAR away from this one.
