Deze Farberware 12 x 17 inch witte snijplank met grijze rand is ideaal voor het aanpakken van dagelijkse voedselbereidingstaken. Great board
We are semi-replacing our old Farberware 12x17.with a new one. Over a long period of time the old board got many cut marks in it. It is still in great shape, and we will keep it for chopping and heavy-duty cutting work. However, I really wanted a new one, so I'll use this for light work. My old board is at least 10 years old and, except for the cut marks, still looks as clean as the day we bought it. These will last so much longer if you give it the proper care you need. After cutting up chicken, rinse it and use a bleach cleaner to kill all the germs. The bleach will in no way hurt the board. When cutting carrots, red onions, beets, and the like, rinse it immediately so the foods don't discolor the board. The gentler you are with a knife, the less your board will look like it was in a knife fight. Really, the board will only look as good as you use and keep it. With proper care and washing, these boards outlast any other we've had. With proper care you don't need to buy one every year. They will live up to the hardest tasks, and in the long run, save you money.

cut marks? Absolutely
Over the last thirteen years with a granite island, how do we protect it? Many ways of course, with proper cleaning and cutting boards. Yes, these type boards will have cut marks however under normal use on both sides With just about every day use, they will last about one year. At the price of these boards, a year of use is what we expect. I remember as a kid (in the 50's) our butcher cut and pounded meat on a wood chopping and cutting block which he would wire brush to keep 'clean'. Clean, maybe however not sanitary. These plastic boards with proper scrubbing will last about one year and then time to purchase another one. We highly endorse these boards however your disgression when to purchase a new board.

I have been on the hunt for a cutting board exactly like the one I had, with no luck, until this one! It washes off nicely, and has a groove to catch juices. I am very pleased. Finally!

I loved this cutting board. It feels good in my hand, it is easily cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher, is easy on knives and just the right size for most cutting jobs. It also looks nice.
