They are definitely boots.

They fit true to size. I wear a 12 tennis/sneaker/running shoe. Some other boots I need a 11.5 for proper fit. I ordered a 12 with these & fit is good. Quality seams okay, nothing special. I bought them on sale for about $50. That’s probably what they are worth. Don’t be a sucker and pay full price, wait for a sale.

While the length and width were fine, as well as the craftsmanship, my feet don’t seem to fit deep enough into the shoes to rate a five star. However, they are not broken-in yet, so..,
