Holy Silent Jumping Batman!

I was hesitant to order this ingenious product because my children already have enough noise-making toys to drive me insane. I was sold on the concept of an age-appropriate, balance-training pogo for my toddler but I dreaded the idea of the squeaker feature. I poured over user reviews on Amazon and the manufacturer’s website, hoping that some other sane human being had the same concerns as I, but found only complaints and no confirmation that the squeaker could be easily removed without damaging the product. With my son’s birthday coming up I decided to take the risk and order it. I figured that if I couldn’t kill the squeak I’d just return it before he saw it and knew what he was missing. I’m happy to report that I was able to silence this toy and gift it to my son! There are two small, plastic, bulb-shaped squeaker inserts, one at each end of the foam base. I inserted my finger into the opening to feel around the squeak mechanism and confirmed that it was not glued or permanently attached inside. I used needle-nose pliers to grasp the stem of the squeaker while depressing the bulb with my finger and slowly stretching the foam around it as I carefully worked it out. The foam does have some elasticity but I didn’t want to force it too quickly and risk tearing the foam. Each squeaker came out intact and the foam block shows no scars or signs of the surgery. All in, I probably spent less than two minutes investigating and removing the squeakers versus the hour or so that I spent scouting the internet and debating whether or not to buy it. I hope my detailed review may save someone else the trouble. As I write this, my three-year-old son is happily hopping around the house (wearing his bike helmet) with no sound other than his laughter and joy. My eight-year-old daughter gave it a go and is jealous so I may have to buy another! I also gave it a try and was surprised at how much air you can get due to the elastic bands that connect the handlebars to the foam base. The product seems very well made and the colors are great.

Easy for 3 1/2-year-old!

We were delighted by a visit from my nephew and his his family. I bought this item for their 3 year-old daughter; I didn't have any idea what she might like to do. She easily learned how to use it and grinned ear to ear bouncing around in our back yard. Then thought it was funny that her mom could use it, too! It says it holds up to 250 lbs. A great gift!

Teaches balance

The child was not as engaged as I anticipated. Of course it was her birthday and she had lots of other gifts. I have seen her playing with it since and she enjoys it. It does take some practice,but is good exercise.

Hours of fun

The Easter Bunny left this for my 5 year old grandson and he loves it. His 9 year old brother played on it too. My dogs though, they lost their mind over the squeaker (which sounds the same as a dog toy) The squeaker is really the only con I found. I hope it lasts, it's too early to tell if it will.

My 3 year old Niece Loves it.

There was one at a friends gathering and all of the kids were taking turns with it. So I bought one for my niece for her birthday. She loves it!

5 year old loved it

My grand daughter loved this and used it for hours inside the house. The squeaker did not bother me. One word of advice, wearing socks was dangerous, she slipped off several times. She never fell once when she was bare footed so you may want to have them do this activity with nothing on the feet. She used it all winter inside the house and spent hours jumping on the thing. Best winter item I could have bought! It was inexpensive and she will use it again. This item she took home with her. There was nothing I regret about making this purchase.

Great for indoors

Good idea to use inside on rainy days. Quite difficult for a 3 year old to use but 6 year old was ok with it and enjoyed playing with it.

Works after a year, even with 150lbs

Love this little bouncy toy. Got it for my daughter about a year ago when she was 4 and it took her a few months to get the hang of it. Also, she's super light so the squeeky sound didn't go off when she jumped on it (kind of a good thing wouldn't you think, lol). But in any case, she eventually got the hang of it and now she's 5 and has been using it regularly. She was so excited when she did get the hang of it. As well, I had no idea what the weight limitations were on it, but I have used it many times and I'm about 150lbs and it works just fine for me. My husband is tall and around 200lbs and he's tried it out too. -Everything is still in tact a year later, so i'd say it's a quality product -there's no odor to it when we received it, -it does take kids some time to figure it out so don't expect it to work immediately -Adults can use it -It's super light (i don't know the weight of the product but I can't imagine it's more than a pound or two) -Best of all, the price is awesome. When Covid is over and we can resume birthday parties, I would not hesitate to buy a few of these to have as an activity for kids to play with at a birthday party. Also, for the price point, around $20, it's a great great deal for a rather fairly priced gift for a girl or boy or various ages. Get it for a young kid and they can grow into it. Get it for an older kid and they can probably get the hang of it right away. Put it in your home gym for a quick little work out. Keep in mind though, if you're tall, it might be more challenging for you because the length of where the handles meet the base isn't that long. It worked fine for me because I'm 5'6 and I did have to hunch over a little bit. So if you're taller than me, then it might be a little trickier to use. Not saying it can't be done, but the point is to get this for the kids. My almost 2 year old son is starting to try it out. I don't expect him to fully know how to use it until he's 3 or 4 but it's a safe toy with no sharp edges or anything like that so I don't mind him dragging it around. Overall, great product, helps to keep kids active, stores easily (I hang it on the wall with doggy tail hooks, but could be hung up with any type of hooks really). Highly recommend.

Surprisingly not a hit with the kids

Great quality, looks fun. The kids we gifted to (ages 3 & 5) loved them coming out of the box, a true novelty and very positive, yet the Flybars ended up getting next to no play time afterwards, unfortunately. Both children are active kids who love to run and jump; perhaps they were too young for this type of toy.
