Dit pilotenkostuum voor kinderen van een luchtvaartmaatschappij heeft alles wat hij nodig heeft om er officieel uit te zien! Het marineblauwe kostuum bestaat uit een jas, een overhemd, een stropdas, een broek en een hoed met gouden vleugels op de rand. Het blauwe polyester jack heeft gouden knopen en een gouden pilootvleugelspeld in de linkerborst. Het witte overhemd met kraag van polyester heeft een elastische zwarte stropdas die zich over de nek uitstrekt en een klittenband gebruikt om het onderjack te bevestigen. De meegeleverde elastische marineblauwe broek past bij de jas en heeft een elastische tailleband voor veiligheid en comfort.

Pretty Good for the Price

My son really wanted to be a pilot and I selected this one because it looked like the most complete costume of all the pilot ones I looked at. I ordered a similar costume last year (police officer but from another manufacturer) so I thought it would be similar in quality. It was not. When it arrived, it was folded extremely tight and had tons of sharp creases on it. It said "Dry Clean Only" which I think is ridiculous for a costume so I washed it on super delicate with cold water. It was still very creased so I tried steaming it which didn't work and finally I ironed it with a towel between the iron and the costume. I also hand washed the dickey and ironed the tie (with a towel over it). The tie is a bit flimsy and so is the collared shirt dickey but it works and looks cute once the child has it on. The pilot wings are not the best and instead of a plane logo in the middle they have a parachute?! The wings are glued on to both the hat and the jacket breast and the one on my sons hat was broken. They were easy enough to pull off and I used the iron on a towel to melt a little of the glue residue off the jacket. Luckily we had our own junior pilot wings to put on instead. I suggest looking for some in advance if you want an authentic look. Regarding sizing, my son is about 45" tall and 46lbs. The medium was a little big and I had to have the pants shortened a little. For the jacket, he just rolled the sleeves in a little to make the jacket work (so he had 3 stripes showing instead of 4). He didn't mind being the first officer. In conclusion, my son wore this 4 times and it held up except for the velcro on the tie. It's not as well made as other costumes I have purchased but it looked cute and my son was happy.

Decent Product

Like most reviewers stated, this is a decent product. The quality is not over the top but it does serve its purpose. As far as sizing, I ordered this for my 4 year old Godson who typically uses size 5 and is tall for his age. I bought a medium. It was far too big and had to be tailored to fit. I think the small and possibly even the toddler would have fit. In terms of design, I wish the pants were made with a button and a zipper rather than just having an elasticized waist. I saw that some persons received crooked hats- mine however, was fine. The insignia on the jacket is not stuck on, so you must use something for adhesion. The costume does not come with a white collared shirt, rather it included an apron like item (best description I could think of). It included the collar attached to a length of white fabric, has a black tie and ties in the back like an apron would. You could just substitute with a white collared shirt of your own and a tie particularly if you intend on removing the jacket or you could use as is because based on your location, the costume can be really hot. Once you're not expecting a super quality product, this is fine. I also bought a pair of aviator sunglasses to add an extra touch to the outfit.

Not well made but adorable

This is not well made...But it is an adorable costume and my son was the hit of his pre-school parade. After several trips on airplanes the only thing he wanted to be for Halloween was a pilot. This was the best costume I could find. We only used the jacket, tie and hat, he wore his own blue pants and white shirt. The material doesn't breath and being that he was in school all day it would have been awful. The pilot wings are parachuting wings but unless you look close you can't tell. He still loves his hat. He is a big three and a half year old and the pants would have been too long; the jacket sleeves were a little long, but I preferred too big vs too little. I'll keep it around for another year or two, it should still fit.

Cute, but size runs very small! Measurements in review

I ordered this for my 6 year old for Halloween. The costume arrived on time and it is very cute. As previous reviewers mentioned, this costume runs *really* small. My six year old is on the small side and I ordered a medium 8-10 for him based on another review. I thought maybe it might be a little big and I would just pin it up and then he'd have more use out of it. Wrong! It fits him perfectly now. The inseam on the "medium" pants is only 19 inches. Luckily the waist is elastic and is approximately 16 inches unstretched. Seems as though it could stretch to at least 24 inches without overtaxing the elastic. All stitches appear tight in this lightweight costume. Tag says "dry clean only" (though I will most likely machine wash on gentle cycle and let it air dry.

Great costume, OK quality

I got this for my 2yo son. He's as big as most 3yo kids. It fit him well with clothing underneath for the cool WI Halloween weather. The badge on the jacket was peeling off before I even was able to have my son try it on. Some double sided fabric tape did the trick. As far as the fabric the costume is made out of, it is very very thin but looks good. We received so many compliments from random people when we were out trick or treating about how cute the costume was. For the price I paid I am not going to complain one bit.

Gramma's little pilot

At my 4 yr old granddaughter's request, she wanted a pilot's costume for Halloween like the one the "guys wear that bring her daddy home". I ordered the airline pilot costume & was pleasantly surprised to receive it within 7 days. I wanted to check it over before sending it to my little one in Canada. I was pleased with the costume & happy to send this on. She just received it today. She wears a size 7 so I ordered the child's medium. There is plenty of room for warm clothing under the costume as well as room to grow into it. She was thrilled & I have a picture with 2 thumbs up. So cute! We found children's aviator sunglasses & sent those along to complete the costume.

Very cheap quality but the set was everything we needed

My son is obsessed with being a pilot and wanted to dress up as one for Halloween. This set is great because it includes everything he wanted to have in a costume. The pants are almost see through and the fabric is awfully thin and cheap feeling. Fortunately it was just for a one night use and I didn't have high expectations for it being high quality so it was good enough.

My son love it. Don't expect this clothes can keep warm in Halloween...they just costume...when he dress up and exactly as same as the photo they are showing.

Muy bonito!

Todo muy bien, los accesorios pues consta de pantalón, saco, una pechera simulando la camisa interior y el corbatín que se ajusta con velcro, la gorra de capitán, tal cual se ve en la imagen... ¡muy bonito, excelente disfraz para la ocasión!
