Fit perfect

This fit perfect and fixed the problem. Took about 15 minutes to install. Actually took longer to take the food stuff out of the door then it did to install.

when repairing door hinge replace both hinge components.

The right hand door of my in laws 15 year old Frigidaire side by side had been making a knocking sound, I looked at the hinge and noticed it had cracked and door was jumping. I looked for original parts and found a repair kit for 60 dollars plus shipping. I order this part instead plus the male part of the hinge and now the doors works like new, I can not comment on the quality of the material and its durability only time will tell but as far as the installation it was easy. Do yourself a favor and replace both parts of the hinge at the same time.

Good service expensive prices for a piece of plastic

The service was excellent in getting the part and having it delivered but the price point was ridiculous for a little piece of plastic. At that price replacing the refrigerator would be $17,000

Fixed my fridge door

After ~14 years, the bearing hinge broke. I found parts of the plastic on the floor and was not sure if it was the hinge or the door plate. So, I ordered both just to make sure I wouldn't have to do this twice. In my case, it was the hinge that broke and only the prong part that sticks inside the bottom of the door remained. It took a couple of minutes to pry and pull it out of the bottom of the door. After I got it out, inserting the replacement was simple and I applied some food-grade silicone to the part that sits down on the door close plate to help with the friction. It was a quick fix that took a total of about 15 minutes. Involved removing 1 screw, 2 bolts both from the top of the door hinge, lifting off the door, pulling off the old plastic parts and inserting the replacements, then reassembling. The longest part was emptying out all of the bins in the door.

Fridge Closes now!

The bearing broke years ago, finally went on a mission to get the parts to fix it. If your fridge does not swing shut by itself this is probably the piece that is busted. Only need to take the top hinge off to remove the door, remove the broken bits from the hole in the bottom of the door and put the new one in and put the door and hinge back on. It's going to take you longer to take the food out of door shelves than to fix the broken piece.

This is for the top half of the closing plate mechanism

I bought this because the closing plate on my fridge door broke in half. This is the part that goes into the door itself, which is the top half of the closing plate mechanism. I thought this was the bottom half, which is what I needed to replace. I figured it would be best to replace the whole thing, so I kept it. Perfect fit and when paired with the actual closing plate, it's a completely silent operation. Very happy with the purchase.

Hard Knocking Sound Gone

I just saved a ton of cash doing this bearing hinge myself. The door was so light it popped right off with two screws. The door opens now with total ease. They suggested to remove everything from fridge and power down but I did not. I just had all prepped with all my tools, grease and flat ladder with a thick soft comforter placed on it so it would not scratch the door. It look less that 2 minutes to pull off hinge and remove old hinge and grease and replace with new one. Believe me it was easy!!!! These guys ship this thing fast also with great packing. Totally professional. Thanks Guys
