Gardena pressure reducer

Excellent water pressure step-down device

Does exactly what it is supposed to do like most if not all Gardena products -- Gardena water control devices typically cost more, but the quality is both consistent and exceptional; if you consider how much it costs to buy a lesser product that doesn't work as expected--then searching for a useful solution, Gardena is worth the investment the first time, every time.

Great Gardena Quality

I have about 6 of these to control different zones in my yard and none have failed after several years. If you have high water pressure as I do try installing a pressure reducer at the main line. It will help other things such as your dishwasher last longer in addition to your irrigation system.

Had to replace the same one that failed already, ...

Had to replace the same one that failed already, but since I have very high water pressure I didn't really have much of a choice. I hope the next one (just purchased) last longer than the one that came with the drip kit.

Everything is working perfectly

Delivery was quick. We bought 2 units to replace the old ones (11 and 10 years old), that did not hold pressure anymore. Everything is working perfectly.

Great quality and long lasting

I have 2 of these pressure regulators, 1 big one and one from Rain Bird. While my Gardena regulators are still working great after about 4 to 5 years of use my Rain Bird one is starting to spray water everywhere. My only complaint is not about the product but the price Amazon is charging for all the Gardena Drip Accessories. I have come to the point of buying a bunch of replacement parts when I am in Germany and bringing them back with me. The big pressure regulator is half of the proce.

The last piece of the jigsaw!

The second of these I have bought. After installing automated watering at the front of the house I needed a pressure reduction valve- works well with the rest of the irrigation kit I bought off Amazon. The flower baskets, troughs and tubs will now be looked after while away. ????????

Funktioniert ohne Anschlussgarnitur!

Der Druckreduzierer hat ein einfaches Schmutzsieb wie das, welches auch die meisten Beregner von Gardena besitzen. Für ein Gewächshaus mit 2x3 Metern reicht das Basisgerät 1000 vollkommen aus. Tipp: Die Kupplung für den Gartenschlauch lässt sich abschrauben. Somit kann der Druckreduzierer direkt an den Bewässerungscomputer von Gardena aufgeshraubt werden. Das erspart eine 1/2 zoll Schlauchanschlussgarnitur. Hinweis: Ohne einen Druckreduzierer würden die Kompletten Schläuche und Düsen des Micro-Drip Systems auseinanderfliegen. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Ich hoffe, meine Rezension war aufschlussreich und hat Euch zusätzliche Informationen geliefert. Danke fürs Lesen.

Cheap water treatment for the garden

Easy to fit once you check the magnets are located correctly. As it’s a long term treatment can’t comment for a few months on it’s performance.

Works well, no leaks!

I’ve had my Gardena irrigation system for over 10 years. The connection between the black piping and my garden hose was leaking very badly, so I bought this to try and stop the leak. Worked perfectly. Much sturdier than the simple, shorter connector I had before. Really pleased with it.
