Gardman R754 16 doorgroeihoepel met 3 poten. Deze doorgroeihoepel met een diameter van 16 diameter is een ideale ondersteuning voor hoge planten zoals pioenrozen en andere zware bloesems. Beschikt over een 16 brede hoepel met drie 24,5 hoge poten. Plaats de hoepel eenvoudig over de jonge plant en de plant zal omhoog en door groeien. Door het ontwerp kunnen planten door de steunring groeien en de plantengroei verbergt uiteindelijk het frame. Voorkomt omvallen van langstelige bloeiende planten. Aanpasbaar en herbruikbaar voor vele seizoenen. Roestvaste, duurzame, met vinyl gecoate massieve stalen staafconstructie. DOING THE JOB, BUT NOT SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE!
I needed these for 2 Peony plants that in past years tended to lean towards the sun and of course flopped down when in bloom after a rain. Rather than relocating them, not having another suitable spot, I bought and am trying 2 of these. Once assembled it was very easy to stick them in the ground around the just emerging spring growth and they are doing a great job now holding the shoots that have grown rapidly and are ready to bloom. Getting each assembled was confusing with only a picture and maybe some arrows, I forget now, to refer to. I sure wish companies would enclose clear directions for assembling items instead of weird drawings with arrows etc. that even at times do not seem to match what you have in your hand, not to mention that the assembly might be difficult for an older person or an impaired one. I am a senior female who works in the garden a lot, digging and all that, but I could not, was not strong enough, to clip/snap/attach the 3 legs of these onto the top metal circle. I had to ask a young neighbor man to do it and even then it took him, his wife and myself all figuring out together exactly which direction and what place to attach the legs. The curled part at the top of each leg was the confusing thing. That's why I gave the assembly 2 stars. As for the metal, it seems sturdy, did not bend when I stuck the legs in the ground, however the soil is basically soft here and was wet, after a rain.

Works perfectly to support heavy peony cluster - much better than standard hoops
I have 2 clusters of peony’s that inevitably fall over as soon as they start getting their buds and then stay slumped over for the rest of the year until Fall. Last year I tried a normal tomatoe hoop and once the stalks got high enough, they all leaned to one side and the hoop just couldn’t support it, plus it looked like a leaning pile inside a hoop. I don’t know why I didn’t buy these earlier! I just stuck them over the peony buds once they started coming up out of the ground, and then let them grow through the grid and then as soon as they were high enough - I used the legs and moved the hoops up to support the stalks. 100% works as advertised. These are great - the square grid pattern makes it’s very easy to keep individual stalks exactly where you want them, as opposed to a large hoop that gets all the weight falling to one side and doesn’t look good. i’ll Buy them for anything like this in the future. Photos are of young peonys coming through and then older ones - with supports all the way up. They are just the right size and blend in really well.

Great idea, somewhat poor execution
Great product except for only having 3 legs which makes it a little hard to balance and find 3 somewhat even spacing for the legs is difficult also. The labels show 4 legs and other differences so it doesn’t match the product at all. NO directions on attaching the legs with these strange curly ends.

great product - wish it was a bit bigger
Just what i needed for my peonies. However this is a bit small for them! Also i was a few weeks too late getting them on - recommend to place when they are about 10 inches tall, or starting to get bushy. easy to assemble. After spring i moved them to some of my other long-stemmed flowers that need support.

Plant support
It is well made and I have a lot of plants in need of it. That is why I bought it thinking it was a pack of ten as promised. Sadly only the one arrived. I have two messages from the suppliers ,They are still digging into it. All they have to do is read their own ads to see they need to change the wording to one not ten.

Item not as described - only one support was delivered rather than the 10 in the description.
The support itself is fine but the item is described as a pack of 10 and it isn't - only one support was in the pack when it arrived.

Very flimsy attachments, needed modifications
Had to use pliers to tighten the metal wire attachments as the wind kept blowing it down on top of my new peony and destroying it. Will work, but you need to be aware of this issue. Zip ties might work as well

Missing a support leg
Bought two of these, they are supposed to have 3 support legs, one of them only had 2.
