De Slimline inbouwverlichtingssets van Globe Electric zijn de inbouwlampen van de toekomst. Easy install very bright
The media could not be loaded. Super easy to stall even if there’s a joist there, the light is consistently warm from the brightest setting to the most dimmed level

Excellent option with a few minor flaws.
If you're installing recessed lights in your attic or you know you're going to have to deal with low clearance, these are ideal for you. Having used the other Globe products previously, I decided to try these out given that I knew that there were a possibility I'd have one set of joists where I had an HVAC duct. The price of the units is higher than getting the standard 3" cans with LED GU10 bulbs, but the plus is the "ease" of installation and the ultra low clearance. I use "ease" because this is highly relative. The key problem is that the included J-box is tiny. If you have the luxury of installing serially, you'll be fine. However, I had one box where I had to join 3 sets of wires. This was a challenge. I had to remove the included push in connectors and use 4 port push in connectors instead. If you have to join 4 sets of wires....This could be resolved by globe by making the box longer or a bit thicker (not any wider because otherwise, it would not fit through the hole!) Another challenge is that the provided cut-out template is on a folded piece of flimsy paper. I literally ripped the first template trying to unfold the paper. To actually make it useful, you'll have to transfer it to cardboard first or have a compass on hand. It would have been better if they included the template as part of the product packaging (on Globe's other products, the template is on a flap of the box and you punch it out of the perforation). This would save a step and yield more accurate cuts. One final note is that this won't work well for new construction given that you can't hang it on the joist (you'd have to install the j-box and come back, remeasure, and cut out the hole later; your electrician won't like you very much, but your drywall crew will!). It can be done, but will surely be more time consuming for your electrician vs. using new construction cans. Otherwise it's a pretty good product. The trim is made of metal and the J-box is very solid as well. The spring clip is very aggressive and pulls the unit tight against the ceiling. The light is almost as bright as my GU10 LEDs but is obviously far less directional so it's perfect for general purpose room lighting. Be sure that you get the right size for your application; the 3" units are tiny.

BEST VALUE FOR SAUNA LIGHTING!
SO easy to install, work perfectly, look nice, shipped super fast. I purchased these to install in the ceiling in a sauna my husband and I built. The sauna stores wanted over $300 for "sauna" lights. I took a chance on these and so far I'm SUPER happy! We installed them in December of 2021 and have been using the sauna about 3 or 4 days a week ever since. (6 months usage at time of this review) The temps can be over 180 degrees F. We do both dry and wet saunas. Even if an issue were to develop, the light pucks are so easy to remove and reinstall, I could just replace them over and over and over again and never come close to spending the crazy amount of money the sauna store charges for their "special" lights. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase. Thank you.

Easy installation, looks good.
Installed a few over the shower in my bathrooms. They are really only 1/2” thick, so easy to install. Even wiring is easy because of the slide in connectors that have 2 sets so you can wire them together easily. 3" light provides plenty of light.

Easy Install and wonderful product
Installed 8 of these inside my lanai - awesome. I had an electrician install only the wiring and connection to the switch inside the house. We did the rest of the installation ourselves. It was very easy and the light is WOW. They look very cool. Love the small size and so far they do not attract any bugs which is an added bonus. The lights have a nice warm glow.

Perfect lighting for my office upgrade
Look Great, working great. Brighter than I expected. The only problem is a 3" hole is too small for my hands to reach through for the wiring. I had to have my spouse pull out the wires so they could be wired up. Due to the brightness, I used fewer than I had planned. Now I need to put a dimmer in.

Do not waste your time with cheap chinese knock-offs. These recessed lights were a dream to install and are so thin! Holes are 3.25" wide however so do not expect them to fit in existing 3" holes if that's what you are looking for.
