De Halo RA56 LED is een complete verstelbare Gimbal LED-module voor inbouwdownlights met een opening van 5 inch en 6 inch; geschikt voor nieuwbouw, verbouwing en retrofit installatie. De RA56 verstelbare gimbal biedt 35 graden kanteling en tot 360 graden rotatie. De RA56 is ontworpen voor gebruik met behuizingen van 5 inch en 6 inch, waaronder de Halo H550-, H750-, H5- en H7-serie, en andere compatibele behuizingen van 5 inch en 6 inch. Great Product!

The lights were an excellent replacement for the 13 year old can lights! We removed the springs that were attached to the light and installed and utilized the clips that were provided so the light would fit in our existing cans that are installed in the ceiling. We found that the cans that were originally installed were not calked around the outside of the can, so we removed the old lights, capped both the negative and positive wires, and allowed the calk to dry for two days. When you install the new lights with the clips, take your time and make sure the clips are in the metal can and not on the edge of the can. The lights are very bright, so we advise you to purchase and install dimmer switches, which work great. We highly recommend the purchase and use of the lights, which has helped modernize our kitchen, dinning area, and living areas.

Great product

This model is actually a close out item. I bought 6 at home depot but needed 4 more. Could only find on Amazon. The LEDs fit 5 and 6 inch cans. Just unscrew retainer at spring and push in. Tighten screw and ready for a 5 inch can. Springs are easily installed in can and hold the fixture tight to ceiling. Love the 3000K color and the gimbal which allows light to be directed wherever needed.

Quality fixture

Quality fixture, replaced a gimbal-style pod that had a BR30 lamp in it that had discolored over time and looked weird against the white ceiling. This blends in to the white ceiling much better, is more low-profile, and has a little bit wider light distribution than the old fixture. Super easy to install and dims really well on a Lutron Caseta dimmer.

They don't want to stay all the way in the ...

They don't want to stay all the way in the can on a 20degree ceiling with the spring hooks. Going to try the other bracket it comes with. However the gap is so tiny you barely notice it

Nicer looking than old style and more efficient!

Worked perfectly to replace our old eyeball style light above our fireplace. Puts out a lot of light and is easy to adjust what direction it points.

I can see clearly now...

Great light! Redoing our master bathroom and putting in LED cans on a dimmer switch so we can control the light in the morning. Great look too and now we have all LED cans throughout the house.

Not 7.6" trim diameter

Its hard to give an accurate star rating for this product since i never got to use it.. the picture shows a trim diameter of 7.6". The description misleadingly calls it extra wide flood (they meant light beam not trim). The actual trim diameter is 7.25". Very disappointed. Now, i need to find a new solution to my too wide ceiling hole.
