First of all, I received a damaged item (the clip on the lid was broken), so I requested for a replacement. There was more inconvenience coming along with the replacement item (missing part, scratches on the bowl, tiny crack on the plastic of the blade part, a button that's a bit stubborn), but Amazon customer service was very helpful and attentive in solving my problem, and I very much appreciated their empathetic responds and satisfying solutions. Now about this product, I think the size is perfect for me. It's small, but not too small like the 1.5 cup mini food processors in the market, also not too big to take up much kitchen space. I only cook for myself and my husband, so I don't need big serving capacity, and I think 4 cup is the way to go. I like the shape of the blade that allows it to chop and blend more evenly. The first time I used it, I tried to chop bell peppers. Unfortunately I overdid it and turned it into purée. The motor is quite powerful for the size, and you really don't need to hit the chop button too many times if all you want to do is chopping, otherwise you'll have purée instead. The shredder/slicer works well too. You just have to insert a smaller amount and size of food at a time. The lid has a rubber seal that prevents leakage, which is a good thing. But it also makes opening the lid requires a little bit of force (because the rubber is really tight). This product boasts its stack and snap system that's advertised to be more convenient than twist and lock in most food processors and blenders, which I think is true. The bottom part of the cup is not attached or locked into anything when you run the machine. There's a plastic piece in the cup handle that sticks into the motor body when you close the lid (a piece of plastic on the lid pushes down this piece of plastic in the cup handle), that triggers the safety mechanism so that the motor will run, but that's all. So you can just lift up the cup and the motor will stop working. That's convenient while still being safe. All of the parts are easy to clean, and dishwasher safe (I wash them manually in hot water and soap). I think this product is perfect if you can't afford to have a bigger food processor due to lack of space, or just don't need a big one. The only concern here in my opinion is durability. The clips on the lid feel a bit flimsy, and it seems like if you don't handle them gently they'll break quite easily because of the shape of the clips. And the bigger concern is with the safety mechanism. Basically if the little piece of plastic on the lid or on the cup handle broke, the motor would not turn on. And judging from the size, shape and position, it could happen quite easily if you don't handle it with care. Bottom line, this seems like a good product and mine works well so far. My advice is to handle this food processor gently. Hopefully it will last reasonably long. Good luck. :)
