Day 1 Review: not good looking but seems to be durable

Day 1: bought the 6 ft x 3/4 in option. Leather is not well worked, it feels and looks dry, rough and stiff. The leash seems durable. I’ll keep it for some more days and see how it goes.

I was about to give this to a client but I think I won't. There seems to be a weak point at the handle and I'm not comfortable with sending it home with a client. I'm not to much of a fan of the snap either looks like it's trying to be brass but it's plated. I usually get my leashes handmade but I needed this one in a pinch. I might just pass on my personal leash and keep this one. I did run it down in Mink oil since it did not look very finished and leather needs to be conditioned. The other parts feel fine and it looks so much more finished after the oil. If any else happens I'll definitely update my review but so far...its okay.

Perfect!! Classic. Well made. Sturdy, but soft.

This lovely collar arrived quickly. It’s everything I hope it would be. Just great. Nice color, smooth leather, soft and flexible (especially after mink oil and working with it in my hands). The brass clasp is very nice also. Handsome with the leather and our pup’s chocolatey fur. Decent leather leash

It's a good lenght (6ft) and appears to be one solid piece of leather. I specifically want a leather leash that has metal grommets and stitching, other people may have different wants in dog leashes. The 1/2 inch was quite stiff when it arrived, as is most leather, it easy to break in with some oil and time bending/twisting/maneuvering the leash. As a professional dog trainer, who has used & tried a lot of leashes, I tend to be a bit snobbish when it comes to leashes, most days I use biothane or my older leather leashes. When compared to my 11 yr old broken in leather leash the Signature leash is not as comfortable or soft but that comes with use and age. The signature k9 leather leash doesn't take long to soften and become more pliable. Just give it time. There are more expensive options and higher quality options but for the price this is a good option.

It's a fine leather leash.

What do you want from me, it's a damn leash. It has a nice sized loop to put your whole hand through. The other side connects sturdily to the collar of your pupper. Supposedly it's made by Amish people. Well if you know anything about the Amish, then you probably know they don't even use electricity. You try making a leather leash without electricity. I bet you can't and if you could I bet you wouldn't want to sell it for under twenty bucks, but they do. For one moment I want you to imagine the craftsmanship that goes into this: procuring animal hides. Cutting the hide to 3/4" strips. Dying the leather, riveting it in the appropriate places with nickel rivets. Do you even know where to get a nickel rivet? I don't, which is why to me this leash is worth way more than what I paid for it. In fact, I feel like I just stole this fine handcrafted leash from Amazon OVER THE COMPUTER. That's right, this leash is so nice I feel like I just shoplifted digitally. Steal your own today.

I didn't know a leash could be beautiful!

This leather leash is beautiful in its hand-crafted design. You can tell the care that went into producing this leash from each intricate stitch to the beautiful coloring. Since my dog is so short, I wish the leash was a little longer, but that's just my personal preference. I can tell that this leash will last a long time and it's beautiful enough that I'm grateful for its sturdiness! I love it!

Strong, to keep your dog with you!

This leash is perfect for us! It is long enough, strong, comfortable to hold and the clasp works very well. We use a prong collar (large dog) and the clasp on our OLD leash kept getting caught and opening leaving the dog free to run into the street. That has not happened with this leash and clasp. We feel very secure taking our dog for walks. I highly recommend this product!

Cheap very chea

It's very cheap leather so thing it broke after 5mins Working a clients dog. This is not worth spending your money on. The leather is not even treated.

Good quality leash

Good quality, we will see if it lasts a long time as we’ve only had this item for a week but it seems to be made of quality materials. Remember it is pretty long So we have to hold the excess but I think it’s worth the money

Good quality of leather and clasp!

Should have bought this 5 years ago! My 110 lb. Doberman hasn't been able to shake the clasp off yet like other leashes I've had in the past which weren't cheap. Best value leash I've been able to find so far.

Excellent 6 foot training leash!

Very nice 6 foot training leash. The leather is thick and rugged. Measures 72”+ which is exactly as advertised! The clasp is extra strong. Excellent!
