Nice shirt for the price

I bought this shirt to use for hiking and thought it was a nice shirt for the price. I needed something moisture wicking and for blocking the sun and this seemed to tick both of those boxes. For reference I am 5' 8" and about 180 lbs with most of my weight on my midsection and back side. I ordered an XL. This was long enough in both the torso and sleeves which can be challenging for me to find. I did feel it pulled strangely around the shoulder armpit area and the way the seam was sewn I felt like that would be an irritant after a while on the trail, especially when using trekking poles. So I ended up returning this and going with another Hanes product. It was a little bit of a bummer that this didn't work out for me but I still think it's an excellent product for what it is and for the price. Maybe you will have better success with it.

Almost perfect!

I love tops made of this soft polyester with SPF protection and moisture wicking. I used it to layer with a sleeveless dress to attend a funeral. While it was just a little snug around my torso, it looked fine. My only issue is that the sleeves are a bit long (so great for taller women—I’m 5’5”). But they aren’t so long that I’ll hem them. The fabric feels great against my skin. I already ordered a second one in a different color! Addition: After many weeks of waiting, I finally received the second top I ordered. It looked like it had been returned. It was wadded up carelessly in a reused plastic bag (which the environmentalist in me did not object to). It had one of the tags on it that my original shirt did. Fortunately the condition otherwise and the fit were like the first. I ordered this top from a different seller for $5 less than Hanes charged for my first top, which I guess why it had the long delay and was very wrinkled and poorly packaged. But all’s well that ends well. I did not change my scoring, but if the second experience had happened first, I would not have bought from the seller again. If you want a brand new top in a timely manner, order it directly from Hanes’ Amazon page!

Great value, nice shirt!

I haven't put it to the test for athletic performance but TBH I got this as an alternate to cotton t-shirt so it would resist fading and look good for layering. It fits very well, nice length, and the best part for me is the opacity of the fabric - not see-through at all. After seeing the quality of the bright pink shirt, I bought one in light blue too.

Fits perfectly

Lightweight, comfy. I needed a long sleeved undershirt for work. I would have liked the Tee shirt cotton like fabric, for a little added warmth. It’s more of a silky polyester type fabric. Either or I am very pleased with it.

Just right

This shirt is a good layer under light weight jackets and looks great with an open pattern when a tank top is not enough. Fits like my other Hanes shirts, not clingy and true to size.

Perfect for layering in cold weather

I love the shirt, it was warm and perfect for cold climates. I could fit 3 of these shirts in my carry on suitcase. They are so lightweight and dry quality. I found that a XL fit best, but I take a medium or large in most shirts.

It's ok

I was looking for a top that I could wear with joggers - and this top is okay - it's see thru, though - why four stars. Fits great.

Fit is a little too small order one size larger than you think you need

I'll order more

I just received the white. One con is that it is fairly see through as they are very light weight and maybe the other colours are not. They are still great for layering over athletic wear or under my scrubs. The sleeves are long and its long in the torso which I like. The neckline is a bit wide but not too bad. I would order again.

A perfect basic

I have added to my collection of these wonderful easy care whitr long sleeved tees. They pack like a dream, stay snowy white and are so very versatile. Cannot live without them. Strong, well made, perfect!
