A bit of a let down

The product was great but was missing the little rubber ducky which is why my granddaughter chose this one. The set is great but the missing part was a bummer.

2 year old loves the shower

My 2 year old loves pretending he is spraying me with hot or cold! Follows me around the whole house laughing. Ah, to be young again! Solid wood. German made. Quality. I have all the other sets in the collection. Painted a few pieces a different color to go w my dollhouse.

The toilet snaps shut and smashes fingers

If you open the toilet lid and go to close it, it snaps shut and smashes little fingers. So just have to keep the lid closed and hope she doesn’t open/close it. The tub is plastic, not wooden. Overall cute set.

Another high quality toy from Hape

Hape's high quality wooden toys have brought my family so much joy over the past several years, and this bathroom set, which we received this week, is proving to be another winner. We purchased it for my 3 1/2 year old son's "dollhouse" (a Kidkraft fire station/police station set that came with minimal furniture and needed some supplementation), and chose it after looking at the Ryan's Room, Plan Toys and Melissa and Doug bathroom sets. We loved the look of the bathroom, with the bright blue and yellow accents, the separate tub and shower, and the little add-ons, like the duck, bath mat and towel. The set arrived on Sunday, and my son adores it. It is exactly as pictured, and the features are as cute as you'd imagine. The shower hose comes out for washing dolls/dogs/toys/whatever else your child dreams up, the bathroom cabinet opens and closes (my son stores the towel in there), and the toilet lid does as well. The toilet has a very low back, which is sort of strange, but I honestly wouldn't change a thing about this darling set.

Toilet lid does not open. **UPDATE: Lid does open! Hooray!**

**Update: Turns out the toilet lid does open! It was very difficult to open at first (hence my thinking it didn't open at all and not wanting to break it), but it does open which is great fun for my child. Original Review: Seems like a nice dollhouse bathroom set. We just opened it, so I can’t speak to durability. The larger pieces are wood except the tub, which is plastic. The toilet lid on the set I received does not open, which is disappointing. From other reviews and questions, it looks like this is a change from previous versions of this set.

Love!

It’s so adorable and fits nicely in the IKEA doll house. I bought it for my 3 year old but I really enjoy playing with it as well. It’s pretty sturdy and my 3 year old plays a bit rough. We do try to be careful with the doors (so cool that they really open and close!) We really love the furniture.

Tiny toilet!

We have several sets of furniture in this set, and they are well-received by my daughter... in this case, she loves the tiny toilet especially! Durable and excellent for pretend play.

Good size for my dolls houses

I brought them for me 70plus
