No Battery

It requires a battery for the alarm/siren on the station. Typically batteries are no concern, however it requires a round flat watch battery. Clearly not your typical AAA or AA that most homes have Rolling in a drawer.

Defectuoso

Las piezas no eran correctas , la parte para aterrizar el helicóptero nunca se pudo atornillar! Y el techo era muy grande que la medida necesaria ????, no lo devolví porque mi hijo estaba súper Emocionado con el juguete que le dimos por su cumpleaños y tratamos de armarle su estación de policía ! Pero lamentablemente este juguete no cumplió mis expectativas se supone que”Hape” es una marca de calidad pero me siento muy decepcionada!

Missing parts and broken sound piece

We really wanted to love this, but it arrived without the security camera and the dog, and the sound piece doesn’t work. We tried everything, even two brands of the correct size battery. It is such a hassle to do a return so I guess we have to live with it. Two stars because my 2 year old seems to enjoy it!

Company won’t help with defective pieces if you buy on Amazon

Beware if you buy this toy on Amazon. The police light came defective. I wrote to the company and they said “we are not Amazon”. I can’t return to Amazon because we didn’t realize the part was defective until we fully built the item. It’s very cute, but not worth price and lack of customer service.

Not the Hape quality that I am used to

I have been purchasing Hape, Plan Toys, and Janod toys for years and this is definitely not the Hape quality that I would expect. There is very little wood and lots of MDF boards and plastic, which is very disappointing. I would say it is very cheap quality, NOT the Hape I know.

Disappointed

For as much as it cost it is not toddler friendly. The jail cell is loose already and it’s just super cheap. I was so excited to get this for my son and I am so disappointed with the end result after putting it together. The pieces it comes with are so small. The cell key will be lost in a day. I would not recommend at all.

My son loves this police station

My 2.5 year old son loves this toy! He has been playing with it since he got it. I love that it’s made of wood, the small details inside the station, it comes with a helicopter, car, police officer, dog, and more accessories. I think he will enjoy this toy for a long time.

Einfach zusammenzubauen

Also die schlechte Resonanz kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, ich hab die polizeistation innerhalb einer halben Stunde zusammengebaut, zusätzlich noch leim benutzt da meine Söhne schon sehr lebhaft spielen und ich nicht möchte das die Schrauben rausbrechen. Es ist überaus stabil alle Teile haben auf Anhieb und nach Beschreibung perfekt zusammengepasst. Ich bin sehr zufrieden , nun suche ich noch ein zweites passendes polizei Auto dazu. Ich freu mich sehr auf Weihnachten und die freudigen Gesichter meiner Söhne.

inside the box, received wrong pieces, cannot complete the build. very disappointing

received the same piece twice inside the closed box so i cannot complete the build of the jail cell. This is very disappointing as I had purchased and popped it aside for my sons birthday and pulled it out tonight to build for his birthday tomorrow. im now trying to work out who i can contact for a replacement peice and not sure how long it will take. disappointing for a high end product.
