Tight for the size
I got this bigger than i normally wear but it it still tight around the middle. The material is thin, so don’t expect for it to keep you warm. It is good however as a rain jacket and easily rolls up and stows away

Zippers are sub par (broke not fixable)
I like the jacket, especially being a bigger guy hard to find rain shell that has pit zips. But from day one the pockets constantly get stuck and have a cheap inner mesh which keys constantly get stuck in. Just a month into having jacket the left pocket pull came totally off and both zipperss were getting stuck whenever you go to open or close. Now left pocket is totally broken. I expected more from this brand to be honest.

Breathable it is certainly not.
It is very light and takes no space at all - I give them that, but It is not breathable, not at all. Even with open pits (that tend to jam) in mild rain at about 60F and a light backpack (~10 lb), the condensation accumulates on the inside plastic. Whatever this material is, it looks and feels like a plastic bag. I will be returning it as the price does not commensurate with the performance

Good Helly, Depends on Your Needs
Update: Landed in Madison, WI last night in a thunderstorm. I retrieved my checked luggage, unzipped my suitcase, pulled out the Loke, and unpacked it. It was great protection on my way to the taxi. Highly recommended. I bought this because it packs into one of the side pockets. I'll put it in my suitcase for emergencies--I travel for a living. But for everyday wear at a similar price, I prefer this: https://www.amazon.com/Helly-Hansen-Waterproof-Windproof-Breathable/dp/B006SWECPI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1547153862&sr=8-3&keywords=helly+hansen+rain+jacket+men The Loke is thinner material (so it will stuff into a pocket, and it runs slightly smaller than the 7J. However, the Loke has zippered armpits, so if you tend to get overheated, this makes a difference. The 7J also is slightly longer so you get a little more rain protection. But have zippered side pockets. The 7J has one interior velcroed pocket. Both have velcro adjustable cuff, but can be cinched up at the bottom, and the hood can be pulled tighter. I have always been a Helly Hansen fan. My daily wear is the 7J.

Zipper on Pockets do not work well
I normally adore Helly products. But not this one. The zipper on the pockets is very cheap and unless one is VERY careful invariably jams. So it is useless to put things in the pockets when I walk to work in the predawn darkness. Further more the zip up and down jams more often than unless I am extremely careful. The color of the jacket is a marvel for visibility and that is why I bought it. And it does keep me very nice and dry. But I can't keep anything in the outside pockets which means I have to unzip the jacket only part way to get at anything I might need during the walk. I don't have this problem with the other Helly jackets I have bought that are of a higher weight and quality perhaps. So it isn't me - it is the jacket. The zippers on this jacket jam much more frequently than the zippers on other Helly jackets or, for example, on the polar fleece I wear under the Helly. That is another manufacturer and it never jams.

5X arrives
I selected 5X for this article. I normally would choose 2X to fit and 3X if I wanted room for jacket. Looking at the size chart I realized that 4X would fit but for a fleece jacket, 5X ight be better. I was correct and the size is quite good. I have not tested the article in the rain yet. Should be next week. Assembly appears good and this does have pit zips but no mesh liner. Packing into the mesh pocket is workable.

My First Helly Hansen Jacket Is An Excellent Jacket To Have.
I ordered this Helly Hansen Loke Jacket because I wanted a rain jacket that would meet 2 criteria: first, something that I could keep in my car for when bad weather strikes quickly I will have something already there with me; secondly, I also wanted something for the summer months that would be weather proof as well as light weight for Alabama summers. This jacket really did fit the bill. It is very much light weight and also very pack able. Also, please note that this also means that you would not want this jacket to be your go to jacket in the heart of winter because it is not made for that. But this is a jacket that will do the job for me. I ordered an XL, being 6 ft., and around 240 or so with a 46-48 chest-size.

Lovely rain coat
I bought this jacket for my 15 year old to wear to school over his uniform. I bought a small men's size and it fitted him perfectly. H8 really likes it. It's very lightweight, but has no lining inside which would have been better.

Good Quality Product
Nice jacket

The hood is fairly useless.
I found it okay, but in the end I would say a waterproof jacket needs a hood that works, and this one is too small, too short and not volume adjustable enough.

Nice but too tight for Regular size
It's a light waterproof jacket. I usually buy Small size Uk/EU but it was too tight for me. I am 5'10" & have 34 inches waist. So, the jacket arm length & shoulder width was perfect but at the waist, I wasn't able to even zip the jacket easily. In my opinion it's for slip person only.
