Met onze 10005 Silver and Deming Drill-Bit Set kunt u gaten boren in kunststof, aluminium, koper, hout, roestvrij staal en vele andere materialen en kan worden gebruikt voor industriële doeleinden of persoonlijke projecten. Elke boor is voorzien van een unieke zwart-en-gouden dubbele afwerking die gemakkelijk smeermiddel vasthoudt voor een soepelere boorervaring en maximale corrosieweerstand biedt. Met een premium high-speed stalen constructie zijn de bits bestand tegen zware schokken en druk. Onze boren hebben 1/2-inch verkleinde schachten en Tri-flatted uiteinden om stevig in uw elektrisch gereedschap te passen en uitglijden te voorkomen. Ze bieden een 135 graden split-point ontwerp om de snijsnelheid te verhogen en een zelfcentrerende boorfunctie die helpt voorkomen dat de bits gaan lopen of wiebelen tijdens gebruik. No me agrado que en las fotos aparecía que venía en una caja de madera y al final llegó en una caja de cartón, en ese aspecto pienso que fue publicidad engañosa, pero en cuanto al producto, cumplió mis expectativas.

Good Product!

I went to two local big box stores looking for traditional drill bits sizes up to 15/16”. I was surprised that I couldn’t find anything sized even close to what I was looking for. So I went to Amazon and found these Hiltex Silver & Deming bits. The package shipped quickly and when it arrived I was pleased to find that it came in nice wooden protective box. The box has a golden metal latch. I’ve never received drill bits secured in a nice box like that before, so I was kind of shocked when I opened the package. Inside, each bit was wrapped in its own heavy plastic sleeve and they sat on a black foam mat, each bit has its own little slot. Each slot is marked with the appropriate bit size. Based on the packaging, I think these bits will be easy to store and easy to find in the future. The bits worked just fine for the job I was doing, which was to drill larger holes through an aluminum door handle. Aluminum is not a huge test I know, but they seemed robust enough to do bigger jobs on heavier materials as well. So far I’m happy with my purchase.

Storage Box Somewhat Flimsy, Drill Bits Good for the Price

The media could not be loaded. I bought these bits for a piece that I was fabricating from aluminum bar stock. I needed a 3/4" bit, but I found this set for $24.99, compared for $15 for just the bit. The storage box arrived broken, despite the packaging appearing undamaged. The first photo shows the broken box. The second shows how I fixed it with some titebond glue and clamps. No big deal. I successfully drilled a 3/4" hole in the aluminum bar, by working my way up from 1/4" in increments until I got to 3/4". I went slowly and used lube on the bits. From 9/16" to 3/4", I used the bits in this set, in 1/16" increments . The video shows the 3/4" bit in use. I used a v-block to hold the workpiece and made sure to clamp securely to the table on my ancient drill press. All of the bits worked fine. I can't speak to how these would work in steel, but they did a good job in aluminum. They will not get frequent use in my home shop, so I expect they will last with careful use. Can't go wrong at this price.

The product is displayed on line in a nice wooden box that would keep the bits secure. They actually were delivered to me in a cardboard box with a styrofoam type tray separating them. Disappointed in packaging.

This set no longer comes in a wooden box like pictured but a shrink wrapped foam cut out.

For the money this is a good set of drill bits I have purchased several sets but was a little disappointed that it no longer comes in the wood box

I would NOT buy these again.

I finally got to use these as I bought them as nice the have on hand. First off these are not stainless steel nor can they drill it so the add description is off. “High speed stainless steel is designed to ensure sharp and fast execution in any material for clean results” I had figured this given the 47cad price so I was not disappointed yet. What really put me off is that i could not drill a hole in mild steel 2x2” 3/16 tubing with the 5/8” bit in my drill press despite a pilot hole and slowing the speed. I ended up using my mastercraft step drill ( that I got on sale lol) to its max depth and then finishing off the last 1/16” with this bit. Even with this technique I noticed the drill bit was damaged and dulled by the tubing. The crappy tire step drill saved the day and gets 5 stars. This Deming set gets a participation nod and the nice wood box gets the star.

Extremely poor quality, very cheaply manufactured

Product did not even drill 1 hole in mild steel before it failed drastically... Sharpness failure, flutes on drill wore down instantly when hole did go through and then it bent the drill bit. Cheap. Will never purchase again. Do NOT recommend for anything but very soft material such as wood or plastic. When I read about the product it stated it was good for metal use... Not true. Very dissatisfied with this item. I will be trying to return it if possible.

Mauvaise qualité

Mauvaise qualité, cheap. La Première a cassé net au premier trou, Deuxième a coincé et a crochis/usé sur les côté, dans acier doux. Je sais bien que je n'ai pas utiliser dans des conditions optimales, mais celle que j'avais déjà son de loin meilleures. Moral de cette histoire, la prochaine fois je vais acheter de la meilleure qualité plus chèrs.

Me dije es un producto con un precio super accesible y lo malo del producto que no me parecio fue que en su descripción no informaron que la dureza solo viene en la punta de cada broca no en todo el cuerpo y pues es solo para muy poco uso en lo que se termina la dureza de cada afilada que les dé

Buen precio

Se ven bien pero no estan bien mecanizadas por lo que al perforar el metal patean bastante, sin embargo el precio me parece bastante justo y si no te importa tener un poco de dificultades al perforar materiales como el metal, te las recomiendo.
