Power

I've bought 3 sweepers so far and other two didn't have good suction power . This hoover has great suction power. So far so good!

It works very well and is easy to use.

I liked the fact that it has the ability to clean thick carpets or real fine carpets and just regular floors. It also has extensions for hard to get to areas and an attachment for doing furniture. It is also very easy to clean the dirt collector.

Good vacuum for the price

I’m a little disappointed in my purchase and will not buy a “used” item from Amazon again. I ordered the “used” and returned option for this vacuum because it was about $20 cheaper so I thought, “why not?”. I opened the package today and set it up; a screw to keep the vacuum together that goes in the back of the handle and connects it to the main body of the vacuum was missing (I'm assuming its previous owners didn't send the screw back or misplaced it). I contacted Amazon support to see if they could get me another screw for the item because the details of the purchased vacuum do not specify on the type of screw used. They offered a full refund with a return (I declined because of the hassle of returning items in my location) and then they offered me a 15% refund from my purchase… I accepted. I ended up having to drill a random screw in the back that sticks out and barely holds the vacuum together. The vacuum works well on hardwood and carpet, a little heavy, and the retractable cord barely works. Okay vacuum but I was disappointed with the whole experience in the end.

Decent Vacuum Good Suction

I like the vacuum. A little awkward design(kinda bulky) but you get used to it. The retractable cord is a cool feature. I’d purchase again.

Buy it

This is actually my 3rd one in the last 10 years, but I like them so much and the price has been right at $100 each time, I keep going back. My last one, the on/off switch stopped working. I took it apart once and fixed it once, but when it stopped again, it was worth it to me to just get another one. Love the suction power and the retractable cord!

Good value; excellent suction; heavy however

I paid $105 which is good value. Excellent suction and really cleans well. It is NOT lightweight and is a chore lugging up and down the stairs. Also, cleaning the unit after using is not easy, but I got the hang of it.

Hoover is still the best.

I have bought so many cheaper vacuums over the years ( in the 40-80 dollar range) and they are all pretty much garbage. So glad I bought a Hoover again.
