Not perfect, but very good

I needed a pair of gloves for my PS4 because my hands sweat easily, making it difficult to hold the controllers. The first pair I bought were all nylon with no grip, and they were so slick, it was no better than not wearing anything. With this pair, I've had a much better time gripping the controller without the uncomfortable slipping. I got the XL size, based on the chart. They are very snug, to the point I wonder if I shouldn't have gotten XXL. They have frayed a bit over the past few months, but are more or less intact. I do wish they had a rubberized grip on the inside of the hands, just for that extra stability.

Takes getting used to, but has solved my problems

I (attempt to) play Smash Ultimate at a semi-competitive level. Before quarantine, I participated in monthly, sometimes weekly, local tournaments and probably average 2-5 hours a day in play time. I use a GameCube controller in case you were curious. It definitely took a fair bit of getting used to, but I’ve really enjoyed using these gloves. I would say it’s taken me about 15-20 hours of use to break them in, they’re starting to feel more and more natural as I keep using them. When you first get them, they’re VERY tight and restrictive. I’m a 150lb male with what I think are relatively small hands so I got a medium. I was quite convinced I got the wrong size for myself initially, but it really just took a while to stretch them out enough to fit my hands specifically. That said, I still think some of the stitching is in awkward spots that can be a mild nuisance sometimes without a lot of fine tuning each time you take off and put back on the gloves. And for some reason the index finger of the glove is always a little bit twisted which isn’t ideal, but it doesn’t cause issues really. It’s not like it’s the thumb of the glove. The only other thing I would give a minor complaint about is the material feels a little too thick still but it’s something I’m getting used to and bugs me less and less as I get more used to the gloves. Other than the initial restrictive feel, that’s the other part that will make the gloves feel unnatural to use. I initially got the gloves because I have issues with hand sweat causing my fingers to slip off the joystick or buttons in unintentional ways, sometimes the whole controller would shift in my hands in a bad way, causing input errors. To remedy this, I used to play with the controller under my t shirt or with a towel over. Sometimes I would get a lot of misinputs because the shirt or towel would get caught on the joystick or tug on a shoulder button though even that was better than the slipping I was consistently getting with bare hands. I’ve experienced those misinputs significantly less with gloves while I previously thought it was possibly a hardware issue with my controller. So far the gloves have offered the exact right amount of friction I want (I can slide off buttons quickly when I need to, but now it’s always intentional, or at least not a friction issue) and it’s always consistent now. I was very skeptical at first and often said “I need gamer gloves” in a joking way to my friends when I’d misinput, but it actually has been a very helpful purchase for my gaming experience. It’s definitely on the pricey side so I’m really hoping they’re durable enough to last a few years, but as long as they last me a reasonable amount of time, I will say they’re worth it. Also I wish they had more colors/patterns available. Not really feeling this color scheme. UPDATE at 4 Months: The gloves are still serving their purpose, but are quickly falling apart. For $40, I expected them to last at least a year or two. But some of the seams are coming apart and there are holes in 4 of the finger tips already. Reduced rating from 4.

I bought these in hopes I would keep my controller cleaner, however the black material now rubs off on my controller and it has black smears on it now.

A miss on the flexibility between thumb and index

I was hopeful about these and looking for a good pair of gaming gloves, but unfortunately this ain't it. Pros: Quality is great, ability to feel the buttons is great. Cons: Way too slippery to hold the controller in any other way than a gripping it up fully. The biggest flaw however is the space between the thumb and index finger. The seam here should be cut much deeper, almost at a right angle, but instead is just like most traditional gloves that curves between these fingers. This limits your range of motion with the thumb and is even causing me strain as I fight through the fabric. Also, DO NOT USE THIS SIZE GUIDE! I bought a small per the measurement instructions, but places my my hand on the sizing image on the box said I'm a large. Amazon sent me the large for exchange the next day, and I'm debating trying one more time to see if an XL solves the thumb issue, but I'm honestly not hopeful and fearful that it will be too big in the fingers then. I'm not sure it will be worth the trouble to do a second return to find out, as the slickness of the leather is such a questionable design considering the research and collaboration they supposedly did to create this glove. Overall disappointing, wanted them to be perfect but the search continues. Add grip and redesign the area between the thumb and index finger to allow more flexibility, and then they might be on to something.

Daughter Approved: Keeps Hands Dry and Protected

I purchased these gloves for my daughter who's thumb and palms were getting sweaty, raw and irritated from using the PS and Xbox controllers. She is the one giving me feedback as I write this. The Gloves have helped keep her hands dry while playing some intense games while also letting them breathe. They seem to wick sweat effectively as they don't feel really wet or damp after she is done. The material is tight enough that is doesn't cause chaffing on her skin and protects it from the abrasion from the controller. The thumbs aren't showing wear so that is good considering that probably gets the most friction from the analog sticks. She did point out that the design for the index fingers could be better for her use. She felt that it would have been better if you could fold back or remove the covering for that finger to allow for more trigger sensitivity or accurate touchscreen use. The other comment she made was the lack of color choice - only comes in yellow - and could make it more fun looking instead of like a mechanics glove. Otherwise the rest of the glove was perfectly fine.

Mediocre at best

Gloves wick away sweat and keeps my hands warm. I’m able to use my touch screen device with no problems there. The down side is how the gloves are made, the seams are in really awkward places so especially on the thumbs which I require cause I play on controller.The finger tips also have seams inside. The gloves have a Velcro strap on the to to tighten but it’s completely useless. Would expect better gloves for the price!

Snug with an awkward seam

Update: after playing for just half an hour my pinky went numb. I also noticed that some fingers work better than others on touch screens. Based on the measurements I got a medium but the back of the box says I'm a large. The gloves are very tight to put on but after I get them on the fingers are snug without any excess fabric at the end. The thumbs have a seam right where my thumb meets my fingernail. I don't know why they did this, because every other finger has the touch-sensitive fabric wrap over the finger with the seam closer to the base of my fingernails. The thumb's seam and tightness mean it's uncomfortable to tap with the tip of my finger, but I think they'll get less tight over time. The other fingers all have good range of motion and the gloves work well with touch screens.

Confortable mais ..

La sensation est bien manette en main. Par contre aucunement résistant .. ils ont déjà décousu au niveau des doigts .. et j’ai seulement fait quelques session de jeu avec .. pour le prix je trouve ça vraiment dispendieux .. s’ils étaient entre 15-20 je comprendrait mais là .. 60$ et après une semaine, déjà brisée .. je suis vraiment déçu ..

AFTER 1 hour Sleeve came off already. Such poor quality

I literally just got them and the sleeve already falls apart… this is unbelievable for a 50$ pair of gloves. It’s not really meant for console gaming too. It’s quite slippery to be honest but was tackling the sweaty palms issue pretty well. They only lasted for 1 hour…
