Much warmer than you'd think!

I purchased this jacket in a size medium for my 20-year-old son, who had an older Wolfskin jacket that he didn't want to give up even though it didn't fit him anymore and wasn't that warm. This jacket completely swayed him! He absolutely loves it - - he says he's extremely warm, even when he doesn't wear something heavy underneath it, and when he wears a fleece or something warmer it's great even on super cold and windy days. The hood is insulated and fully adjustable, which makes it extremely functional and protective. The fabric appears to be less durable than his previous coa in that it is a woven type of stretch fabric, so he just has to be careful If he wears it in brushy areas. The black color makes this a totally appropriate urban coat, in addition to an outdoor activity coat. It has a lot of nice features, including many pockets and adjustable cuffs. It fits great, is comfortable and looks attractive. Definitely recommend!

Warm and lightweight

This jacket is lightweight yet warm. Most importantly it's not a puffy coat that is the trend.

Real quality and great colour

Quality throughout the garment and really warm and cosy. Good materials and snug fit. Really pleased with it.

Good quality jacket

Impressive jacket with good insulation and waterproof as well. Very soft feel to the material and the hand pockets are hand warming from the material inside. The only slight issue is the front chest pocket is on the opposite side to normal but there's a internal pocket on the other side, just takes a little to get used to. Otherwise definitely recommended.

Zip went

Liked the jacket in general, it was dry and warm, for wet Irish winters, medium fit was fine for me 1.81m 82kg unfortunately the YKK zipper went after six weeks rendering the jacket basically useless, why I removed two stars.
