Great for cooler weather

These are my favorite compression socks. Very comfortable. However, they are too hot for me in the summer. They are thicker, so be sure you have some extra room in your shoes.

More like regular socks - Have 5 pairs now and counting

I purchased 3 pair of these socks over time. I purchased the first pair and then 2 more pairs later. I want to wear them all the time and need others so I can wash a pair and have others as spares. I hand wash them now, and allow them to dry a few days hanging them over a bathroom towel bar on a towel. They have the same compression as the earlier Jobst socks I purchased in the past, but the main difference is the thickness and comfort of these socks over the ones I purchased years ago. The thinner nylon stockings are nice, but not as warm. The nylon socks are also slippery on solid wood floors and such. These socks are warmer and look like any other pair of regular cotton socks. I like the look and feel better and they don't pinch as much at the ankles as the thinner pairs of compression socks. I will never go back to the other style now that I've found these. I like the black as I can wear them in winter or summer. I have noticed a considerable reduction in swelling in my lower legs, ankles and feet since I wear these socks all day. I had a neuromuscular disease as a child and due to weakened leg muscles I have poorer circulation now. Compression socks are no cure for people who are obese or don't exercise, but they do help greatly to prevent pooling blood and fluid in the lower leg and feet regardless of health.

disappointed

I have used Jobst stockings for years. These are a disappointment. They are not 15-20 mmHg, but are equivalent to the 8-15 mmHg Dr. Motion Socks I have from Kohl's. I can buy them for 8-10 dollars a pair and are longer in length than these Jobst. I have several pairs of Jobst knee highs that are 15-20 mmHg and these don't have the same compression. This is the first pair of Jobst knee high's that don't go completely over my calf. Since I paid just under $40 dollars for this pair, I am very disappointed.

They are a bit on the heavy side

They fit is awesome! My only dislike is that they are a very thick material and I tend to be hot, so they are a bit heavy for my liking. I you are looking for a thicker sock, this is for you.

I received this item quickly, it is of good quality. The sock does everything as advertised. I wear the sock on my leg I received a large burn on and the sock is comfortable to wear. The price was the best I could find on the internet. I would purchase again.

good compression

These stockings are great. They do not slide down or leave an indentation on the top of your legs. In the winter they are comfortably warm. I will be buying these again.
