Comfortable used for work - didn’t last long
Bought and wore 5 days a week at work for 26 weeks. They are trashed! I work indoors and they have been very comfortable but started falling apart after 3 months. Lucky Keen has 1 year warranty so I got another pair free (different model).

Pretty nice.
These are pretty nice. I use them mainly for walking. They fit like a Keen but in a more snug manner. They are boxy like most Keen hikers and have a roomy toe box, but again, more snug fit than more traditional Keen hiking styles so the toe box, while roomy, isn't quite as generous as other Keens. They were, for the most part, comfortable for me out of the box and are getting better with every walk. My only real complaint is that I would have liked to see them use leather in place of the synthetic material on the upper. These aren't cheap shoes such that they had to forgo the leather as a cost cutting measure. In fact, I paid more for these than I did for my Targhee III's. Regardless, I'm happy with the Wasatch Crest Vents. Update - 8 months later, they are starting to crack on the sides in the toe box area. I've worn these virtually every day for a 2 - 3 mile pavement walk. That's all I wear them for. Really love them for my walks but disappointed that they are starting to fail already. I believe that these are discontinued now. I'm debating grabbing another pair despite the durability issues because they have been my absolute favorite walking shoes and I will probably get a couple more months out of the pair I now have. But for the cost, and the Keen name, they really should be more durable.

So comfortable!
Lucked out and found these to be a great fit for my feet. Usually wear size 11, and these were right on. Really like the roomy toe box as with most Keen products. Right out of the box, wore these on the 9 mile hike up and around Old Rag mountain and they felt great. Since then, I've mostly stopped wearing my Danner and Scarpa trail runners in favor of these. The asymmetrical design is a little odd looking, but that's fine with me. Would buy again.

Smaller than traditional Keen footwear.
I have owned many Keen's over the years and found the fit is a bit wider in the fore foot area which is perfect for my wider foot and fat toes. I was disappointed because they are a great looking shoe and the fit seemed comfy right out of the box with the exception being tight. A half size up may have taken care of that but at size 12 my next up was a 13. Returned with regrets.

Decent shoe
Overall, the shoe fits well. I am a 8.5 and ordered as such. Fit is good. Shoes are a square toe'd from an appearance perspective, but comfortable. While I didn't expect waterproof, I also didn't expect wet feet just from dew on grass - which is the case. Pretty comfortable for moderate hikes and moderately hilly forested terrain. Decent grip, stability on a variety of surfaces, both damp and dry. Haven't worn them for any more serious/longer hikes or more challenging terrain - but nothing indicates that they would under perform. Obviously, these are not a hiking boot, as such, don't expect the same type of ankle support & protection - but one should know that when considering a lower cut shoe v. boot. Outside of the squared toes, they look is pretty good in the mixed blue color.

It works
I know this shoe isn’t to everyone’s liking. It is odd. I do have to say after having foot reconstruction surgery a year ago due to a fallen arch this sneaker is wonderful to wear. The insole is removable so custom orthotics fit well. The odd lacing works well as it doesn’t put any pressure of the the plating that I have in my foot. I used to wear keen sandals but I found they just didn’t have enough midsole support. These do. My feet used to get tired after walking on concrete especially with the Arroyo sandals (before the surgery the sandals were just fine). Now with these I find I can walk and not have any issues. I was concerned about the heat especially with summer here. I’m not one to wear socks in the summer. They are very breathable. Wore them all day and feet were not sweating, which is unusual as they used to sweat even in the sandals. This has been my experience with them. Try to get past what people have said especially the “ugly” and view them as different. If your feet feel good who cares what others think. Wearing keens is not making a fashion statement. I’ve worn keens exclusively for years. I’m just glad I can now have a summer shoe that works with me.

PERFECT FIT
Note: This is not a thorough review. Just a preliminary review in hopes of helping others. Many years ago, when I first discovered Merrell shoes, they were the perfect fit for my feet. Ready to go, right out of the box. Not any more. Merrell has opted to add high arches in their insoles, which are extremely annoying to me. And for the life of me, I can't understand the popularity of such high "arch support", given the fact that our weight, when walking barefoot (naturally), is dispersed primarily to the balls and heels of our feet, not the arches. These shoes fit my size 10.5 average width feet perfectly, much like Oboz shoes, with no annoying high arches. Over the years, I have worn shoes from Merrell, Vasque, Hanwag, Asolo, La Sportiva, Oboz, Timberland, Adidas, Lems, and more. After Merrell changed the way they make their shoes, Oboz quickly became my favorite. Perfect fit right out of the box, ready to hike. I have never owned, or even tried on a pair of Keen shoes, until today. I made the faulty assumption that their shoes were just too wide for average width feet. But this shoe caught my eye, so I thought I would give them a try, and I am glad I did. PERFECT fit, comparable to Oboz. And the sole appears to be a very solid sticky rubber. Time will tell how they perform on the trails.

Outstanding!
Keen makes great work boots great shoes and this one is no exception. Easily the most comfortable shoe I have ever tried on. Looks fantastic, fits great, outstanding quality! I am buying a second pair to hold on to. Love the way it laces up, really adds to comfort and stability of the shoe. Amazing ????????

Fits square feet like mine
KEEN shoes have a square toe box. Theses are the only shoes I can Wear. The quality is very good but I was not able to try them cause I ordered one size too small and to late to return.
