Works well once you get it installed

I purchased two of these for my walk-in-closet to hang my necklaces on. These are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to install, I'd much rather use the spring tension type. Although once installed they do seem to be very sturdy, however I would not recommend these and will not purchase again.

Keeps falling down

When I took the plastic off of this it literally sprang apart and things went flying. I couldn't find any real directions other then two spots that had turn arrows. I've hung many tension rods over the years so this appeared to be a typical one. I tracked down the pieces that fell and hung it up. An hour later CRASH. I've put this thing up 25x and it just keeps falling. My hubby ended up putting a double sided Command tape on each end so it's been up since but like..... C'mon!!!

Works fine for kitchen window

I am using this to hang curtains on a kitchen window between two cabinets. Rod diameter was a bit large for the curtains I bought and had to pull rod pieces apart in order to push curtains into place. Tensioning by twisting works fine. Plain white design fits nicely with the decor.

how to adjust tension? Challenging packaging/label and, seemingly, no tension

poorly packaged, shrink wrapping was difficult to remove, peeled off in half inch strips... there is a label I can't remove... I turned it to the back of the shower. The wrapping took far too long to peel off a piece at a time but, it had torn so the rod slid out in the box... difficult to tell if the slight scratches on it were manufactured or from the lack of protection in the shipping box. you can twist the rod out to be longer than the distance from wall to wall but there is no "tension" effect that allows me to compress the rod to put it in place so it will have sufficient tension, I tried twisting it in place, the instructions are confusing, that didn't work either It works for me because I purchased it to hold the shower caddy and items hand washed allowed to drip in the shower and the rod rests on the top of the formed shower. for that purpose it is attractive and serves the purpose but, I'd recommend the HabiLife shower curtain rod I purchased for the layered fabric curtain, more expensive but far better quality and, tension worked well, easy to install

Terrible Rod

Bought this rod for my bathroom. It rusted within a month. Fell off the wall three times already. Going to replace it cause every time I see the rusting it angers me at how poorly the quality is.

Not worth it

I would not recommend this product as it is not a spring loaded shower curtain it is hard to put up and tend to lose its ability to stay up after a little while. I am constantly fighting with it when it falls down. Spend the extra couple dollars and buy a better shower curtain rod.

Good width and easy to install, awful stickers stuck to rod

Good width and easy to install, the only thing I would make different is they stuck stickers to the actual rod itself making them very difficult to remove and a struggle to get off, otherwise it would have just looked nasty to leave them on. Perhaps they should put the stickers on the outside wrapping and not the rod itself.

Works great for me

A fair number of reviews were negative, which gave me pause. However, I still wanted a black rod, and the price was right, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I have not been disappointed, and this is the 2nd one I ordered. It was easy to install, and it holds some pretty good weight (have a rather heavy shower caddy on one rod). Just put one end where you want the bar, then extend the other end on an downward angle, about 2 or 3 inches below your target. Now this is the important part, give it a really tight turn in the direction indicated on the sticker. Really tight. Then push it up into a horizontal position. That may require some effort, but it will work. Neither of the rods have fallen once, and I have a teenage and an early 20something who are not delicate with objects. I would personally recommend this product.

Good quality, easy installation!

The brushed nickel finish works with my bathroom fixtures. Happy with quality. The packaging is a bit annoying though, specifically the plastic wrap around the rod.
