Deze uitbreidbare vergiet/zeef van KitchenAid filtert fruit, groenten, gekookte pasta en meer. Deze zeef is gemaakt van roestvrij staal en heeft een plastic rand met antislip rubberen omhulde handgrepen die uitzetten om veilig over bijna elke gootsteen te passen. Dit vergiet is voorzien van rubberen voetjes waardoor de zeef in je gootsteen of op je aanrecht kan zitten zonder weg te glijden of te krassen. De handgrepen van deze zeef kunnen worden uitgetrokken om veilig over uw gootsteen te passen. Deze zeef/vergiet past op de meeste gootstenen; de mand meet 12 inch, volledig gesloten, de zeef meet 16 inch en volledig uitgevouwen meet hij 22 inch. Liked the First One I Had So I Bought It Again

This is a great collander. I liked my first one so much I bought the same one for my daughter when she moved out. Well, my 15 year old KitchenAid collander started to melt when a house guest left it to close to the stove. I ordered a new one from Amazon 10 minutes after that happened. I bought the same brand and style again because the last one lasted so long and I like the fact that it sat up from the bottom of the sink suspended by the slide out handles. When I received it, the slide out handles were sticky and would not slide smoothly. I added a couple drops of mineral oil to the 4 underside tracks of the handles and worked them back and forth a couple times to get the oil spread out. Now it slides easy peasy! I haven't had to re-oil it so far. Highly recommend this collander!

Nice fine mesh but flawed design

It is excellent for using over the sink as you can open the handles to the sides for a sturdy fit. The only downside is that when you press the handles back together again the plastic stops brake easily. Mine broke after the first wash, so something tells me this won't be very durable. Other than that, it has a nice fine mesh which makes it easy to strain almost anything, except that it also makes it harder to clean. The Cuisinart is very similar though it has metallic stops and looks to be longer lasting.

Your good friend in the kitchen

I used the same product for years, and it was time to replace after 20 some years. This basket is very versatile. I wash my fruit, lettuce, and vegetables and put them in there to dry. My delicate hand wash small dishes or glasses can be there to get rid of initial water. I totally love it.

The only strainer you need

This strainer works exactly as it is supposed to. It's the only strainer I have now, because it's the only one I need now. Love it! It's super sturdy and easy to use. Put in the dishwasher and it's still perfect.
