Sturdy but a bit stiff

Water proof and strong

I chose the montlake seat cushion and back cushion. Glad I did. They’re very strong, they don’t get flat at all. The back cushions are a little hard so they need to break in over time. All my other cushions always got ruined in the rain, these are legit water proof. The water doesn’t sink in, it just sits on top so you just have to lift it to have the rain come off if ordering the back cushions add like two or three inches to the width as they run small.

Unconventional use: elevation cushion for elderly

I looked a long time for a very thick, high-density wheelchair-type cushion for my elderly dad who needs elevation and is incontinent. I couldn't find one that would fill his large easy chair, 22 x 22. I finally found this Montlake cushion, and it's perfect. I highly recommend it for great support, the 5-inch thickness, the water-resistance, and a good selection of cover colors. It's pricey at about $85 for 1 cushion, but worth that money if you have needs like ours. If you can wait, it occasionally goes on sale for about $20 less.

Very Firm

Cushions replaced original set. These are very firm and actually oversized for our furniture but husband loves them. Time will tell how they hold up. We don’t leave them out in the rain.

Better than expected foam and cover

We ordered the 5 inch thick cushion to replace some cheap 4 inch cushions thinking that like other seat cushions we have purchased in the past they would sag a lot and the extra thickness would off-set/balance out. However, these had such good foam that even when sitting on it the pad ended up giving very little and thus interfering with the swivel back. We have requested a return so that hopefully we can order the 3 inch now that we know they have quality foam. If you are tired of spending money on cushions that flop, these are the ones you want.

Wish I had known about these sooner!

These cushions are thick, firm and very well-made. We bought some for a swing last year and loved them so much we had to buy more for all of our patio chairs. Highly recommend. Purchased in green, beautiful color.

Great support and comfort

Excellent look, feel, and durability! It is so comfortable too. The snapping clips in the back to keep it in place is a very nice touch.
