cade had very little scent. cade is very dry, and my neck was severely irritated, i had a lot of cuts. so i can not recommend this cade, maybe next time i use this shave cream i could first use shaving oil. thank you lonny

The best shave cream!
This is the best shave cream on the market. It may be a little on the pricey side but it is worth it. My husband has tried several others but always returns to this brand. The smell is amazing and it leaves his skin so so so soft/smooth. My cherished moment of the day is when he leaves in the morning, super early and kisses me good bye..... I smile just thinking about that moment and the smell that lingers is just perfect! I purchase this every couple of months. It lasts a long time, you don't have to use a lot, and the price evens out over the long run! This product is a great one for any guy in your life (and it is also a great shaving cream for legs too.. I have used it a time or too).

A BIG Disappointment
I've been using L'Occitane CADE shaving cream for years. The old "RICH" version, which came in a jar, checked all the boxes beautifully - a superb scent, very good performance, and an overall joy to shave with. The old tube version fell short of the RICH, but still retained an excellent scent and decent performance. I liked the old tube enough to rebuy it. (And for that matter, I rebought the old jar too.) The current (tube) version however, is sadly lacking. The scent is unrewarding at best, and it is weak compared to the superb scents of its predecessors. The performance is adequate, but certainly not distinguished. So why pay the high price L'Occitane wants for it? Don't let the L'Occitane name fool you. For this particular L'Occitane product, there are numerous alternatives - all much cheaper - that smell and perform much better. At any rate, DON'T EXPECT THE CURRENT PRODUCT TO SMELL AND PERFORM LIKE THE PREVIOUS VERSIONS. Think twice before you pay the price.

Formula changed
Been using this product for a decade. The last tube received was horrible. The cream is thin and does not lather. Previously it was thick and luxurious. I emailed L’occitane and received a silly response as if they didn’t bother reading my comments.

Best shave cream I’ve found.
I use this cream when traveling, whether by plane, or with a sleeping bag at camp sites. Best cream I have found. At home, I use their shave soap, which is more economical.

Surprisingly Good
I received it as a birthday present. I Have always used foam from a can. This shaving cream is far superior. A closer, smoother shave. Amazing! It is such a close shave that I can skip shaving the next day and it does not show. I use the after-shave balm as well. My face likes it.
