Great safe educational toy

I bought this toy for my 5 month old granddaughter so she hasn't had much time to play with this toy, but I will tell you what I like about it. I bought the FP toy for my sons which they loved, but I had to watch when they were younger that they didn't fall on the hard plastic pole or even the harder plastic base. The Lamaze pole is encased in a spongy foam material. There is a hard piece at the very top of the pole, but because of the protective layers it doesn't present any safety issues. The hard part allow a baby to gnaw and chew on the top without damaging the mouth, gums, or teeth. There are colorful ribbons on top to chew on, but my toy's ribbons are sewn very close together and do not fan out like the displayed toy. The pole having black and white stripes and black and white dots on the top is stimulating for babies. The bottom ring does not come off and doesn't make any crinkly sounds like the other four rings. Each colorful ring has different textures to the material. What I especially like about the rings is there is no right or wrong way to assembly the rings. When my boys were little they were frustrated with the FP rings because you had to go in order to put the rings on. With this toy when a baby is little she can enjoy the accomplishment of just getting the ring on the pole and not having to worry about any order. As a child gets a little older they can learn the correct order for ring placement. A great developmental toy.

Not good for intended use, good plush toy

This is a cute toy, it has fun colors and textures and makes crinkling noises which my daughter loves. The negative thing is it is hard to play with it as intended. The rings do not easily slide on and off the pole, it’s even hard for me to get them on and off. Also it is very lightweight so the whole thing does not stay upright, my daughter tries to get the rings off and she ends up picking the whole thing up. She goes on to just chew it as a whole and has fun with that, so in that aspect it is great. Not sure I would recommend if you are looking for an easy stacking ring toy, it is however a good plush toy.

Cute

I loved getting my boys all different kinds of these stacker things... like the standard one everyone has, the wooden ones, just all different kinds of these. I am reviewing here a bit late, about two years late lol but, they were great. Exactly as they are in description and photo and great for babes. Unfortunately my second boy didn’t play with it much - because he then had a 2-3yr old big brother and since my little one started crawling he only wanted big brothers toys and would play with “baby toys” very rarely. He did play with it on and off for some time and it helped him learn a bit of hand eye coordination getting the rings on there. Cute toy & would make a cute baby gift; baby shower or first birthday. Not really much else to tell, they’re soft, durable, & cute!

the colors are beautiful and the rings make a crackling sound

Bought this for my 5 month old granddaughter. She has another plastic stacking ring set that she just loves playing with, so I thought I'd buy her a cloth one. She loves this one, too! One thing: I had hoped that the rings had different size holes so she could learn to stack them as pictured, but the holes are all the same size on the rings, so she stacks them differently........which is ok (I guess) and the only reason I gave this a 4 rating. Not sure I would have ordered it if I had known all the holes were the same size. That said, the colors are beautiful and the rings make a crackling sound. There were no cleaning instructions, but I thru the set in the washing machine with Dreft and air dried it before giving to her. It came out fine and rings still have the crackling sound. Very happy with my purchase.

Cute and safe

Baby loves this toy. She was just learning how to hold objects but wasn’t quite ready for hard toys yet as she’d sometimes bonk herself with them. This was perfect because it was soft, something she could interact with, and the crinkly sound is her favorite. Recommend!

Totally recommend this product, instead of the plastic ones

I bought Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Rock-a-Stack at first and dumped it right away as I found its not BPA free. I bought this fabric rainbow stacking ring instead. double the price but totally worth it! So easy to clean (machine washable - very important to moms!), the fabrics are good quality, my boy loves to hold them, chew on them, pass from one hand to the other, and of course, stack them! Love to recommend to all moms - DON'T even think about and waste your money on the plastic rainbow stacking rings. On another note - Fabric ones are also better than wood rings, becoz babies learning to sitting/crawling/standing up, could easily fall down on playmat and hit their heads. The last thing you want on the playmat is a hard toy like wood stacking rings that could cause a big bump on baby's head! Ouch.

Excellent washable toy

Put the toy in the washer and tumble dried; came out great - so it’s pretty durable. Our baby uses them for teething and development.

Good all rounder

My baby’s favourite toy. She takes the smallest ring everywhere. Feel better because it’s made of fabric. As it constantly goes in my baby’s mouth I don’t cringe because it’s not toxic plastic or questionable paint. Makes crinkly sounds. My only niggle is whether it’s washable or just wipeable. I’d buy as gift too. Good job Lamaze.

Bigger than expected

This product is for my nephew who is only a few weeks old. Is is lovely and soft for him to look at and as he grows can stack the rings. They are all different textures and beautiful colours, and bigger than I expected, and by that better value than can be shown in small photos.

Bright and colourful and soft.

I loved these and my daughter does too. She throws them at the moment rather than stacking but I am sure she will learn how to do this eventually. They are lovely and bright and colourful - very multisensory with different fabrics on the rings. I would recommend.

Good value for money

I really liked this product as it was great value for money. My daughter of 6 months seems to enjoy playing with my this toy. The product is nice and soft, which is perfect because everything goes in her mouth, and brightly coloured so it catches her attention.

Great for babies

My 5 month old son loves playing with these rings. They are nice & bright to get his attention & each ring has a different texture. The rings are soft enough so he can chew on them without annoying his gums.
