This is the pregnant lady's snuggle pillow! My husband (I'm reviewing the pillow from his account as he ordered it) ordered this pillow for me based on the reviews and after looking at several pillows. I wanted one pillow so I would not have to move several pillows each time I moved at night. This pillow is perfect for me. I am 5' 7" and around 160lbs at the beginning of pregnancy. I believe the Snoogle will work for taller or shorter and heavier or lighter persons (my hubby likes it and he is much taller and heavier than I!). Perhaps, if you are very petite, this pillow may be too big or bulky for you. The pillow is supportive firm but still soft enough to be flexible and twisted into other uses. I was surprised that this is now my all around the house pillow for back support, lounging, and sleep. It can be twisted into a pile for leaning on, used in my prenatal yoga, used to elevate me at night when heartburn acts up, and, after baby is here, I think it will work just fine as back support and a breast feeding pillow especially when in bed. I like to use the long side of the Snoogle against my belly. The pillow is not too thick between my legs for leg support while sleeping (if you are worried about this, you can always pull it up to between your thighs or put your knees around the long side and your feet under the curl at the end for some support but not too much thickness). It is not too thick under my head and neck and is wide enough for neck and head support while sleeping (and I have a long neck). I literally can curl up with this pillow and stretch out with it. However you like to sleep, this pillow helps you sleep comfy while dealing with the growing belly. Addtionally, this is not my first body support pillow. I have used basic body pillows, leg support pillows, and special neck and head support pillows for years due to neck and back issues. I do not like the basic body pillows. I was actually concerned to give up my usual leg support and special neck pillow and switch to this, but I was tired of adjusting the leg pillow and felt that it was no longer providing me the support I needed as my body grew. I immediately noticed a difference in my sleeping position and a decrease in my aches and pains upon receiving and using this pillow. My hips and legs align better and keep properly supported throughout the night. My back hurts less, my neck is more comfortable, and I do not need to adjust the pillow at night once I get comfortable and fall asleep. It did take a couple days or so to adjust to the Snoogle and find the best position for it and me, but that is normal with any new body support pillow. Now, I honestly think I will not go back after pregnancy to any other pillow. Also, my hubby loves it for several reasons. I toss and turn less at night than before the pillow. I settle into a sleeping position faster and sleep longer with the pillow. I do not evade his side of the bed! The Snoogle keeps me from shifting and moving across the bed. With the long side in the middle of the bed, he does not worry about bumping the belly while he sleeps even if the belly is near him. One night, he threatened to steal my Snoogle for himself, in fact, because he took a nap and discovered that it is an amazing pillow even for a big and tall guy! The only downside for me is the design of the pillow cover that comes on the Snoogle. (I considered giving 4 instead of 5 stars due to the cover that comes on the Snoogle.) I would recommend spending the bit more money for a zippered cover for the Snoogle. I really wish the Snoogle came with a zippered cover. The cover that comes with the Snoogle is nearly impossible to remove, and, once off, I cannot imagine getting it back on the pillow (I had a very hard time getting it partly off!). Imagine trying to get this entire pillow into a tight sock and then cuffing the sock over the end of the pillow--that would describe the cover on the pillow. The zippered pillow covers zip on and off with very little work to push the pillow into the ends. The zippered cover is pretty easy and only took me a few minutes at most to do. So, that is the downside--the extra cover is extra money.
