My two year old loved it!

This is a wonderful toy that allows me to teach my son to count, colors, and play pretend with the little people. He had a blast and has sat there for 30 min doing independent play. I’m so so happy I bought this.

Nice cute set which is nice to store with houses

I have only just received this. I opened one house and it looks like it wld be perfect for sand/play therapy. There are full families and a house. The size may b a bit small for little kids and definitely not a teething toy if anyone thought so (don't know why that is one of the review questions). I am hoping that these will come to good use. I have actually bought one of the used ones but it came so nicely packed in plastic shrink wrap and proper packaging which is nice. They feel as good as new and was able to get for cheaper. I really appreciate it. I cannot give it a five star just as of yet because I haven't used them and opened all the houses to check it all out. Maybe in the future I'll update my review

Missing Part

I have been waiting for a while to purchase this product and was really excited to start using it after I purchased it. When I took each of the houses out of the box, they were individually wrapped with plastic. I unwrapped each one and took all of the items out of each house. The item I received is missing a dog. Other than that, this would be a 5 star product.

These toys are GREAT except one problem…

My daughter is 4 and is so obsessed with these. The only problem is every single mommy of every color does not stand up. My daughter gets super frustrated with that. We have learned to bend their legs forward and they stay standing for a couple minutes but then fall over again. Besides that, they are super fun.. I just wish the mommy’s would stay standing!!

Pieces are pretty and engaging but slightly concerning

Bought these for one of our preschool classes at the request of one of our teachers. Pieces are well made and the kids love them but something about sorting people into neighbourhoods by colour just doesn't sit quite right with me... I'm sure it's fine.

simple and oddly addictive

Our kid loves these, and still plays with them. She likes testing herself 'this one?....' 'nooo', 'this one?...' 'noo...' and describing the family members. Putting the baby in other toys, the dog in other toys etc. Didn't think they'd be a hit, but still one of her go-to toys.

Amazing little toy!

I bought this for my son aged 2. I was hoping for a versatile toy that would support his colour knowledge but I also loved the fact that it can be used to teach children about diversity and different families too etc. He particularly loves the little dogs and carries them everywhere! Whenever we get this set out, he spends hours making a little town and popping the people into the right houses. It also has helped his vocabulary and language in terms of ladies, girls, women etc and all the different words for people. Couldn’t fault it!

Educational and Fun in so many ways

Fun, educational, creative! My 2 yr old Nephew was creating stories with them by pretending each character was a family member. Sometimes he was sorting them by colour or by size. He even did a pattern of Blu yellow blue yellow! Amazing for teaching beginning skills for math and reading. (Creating stories show strong reading skills)
