Nice Quality Switch
This works exactly as advertised. Good quality switch. Easy on-off rocker switch.

Love the Simplicity and Quality Feel
I needed this for a quick and dirty fix to add an LED worklight over my kitchen sink until I can get around to replacing the entire wiring and ballast for the old built-in unit. Now, I'm not sure I'll bother, lol. This looks good and feels quality, and has a very solid "snap" when you click it on or off. Be aware, this unit does not have a lighted switch - which I did not want as it would look tacky in this situation (and there are other power switches out there that do have the lighted switch). So long as the item you're using it with has it's own physical switch for you to leave on, I can't imagine someone not liking it.

Works Well
I use them on a power strip to switch individual effects boards for guitar. Works well and reliably. Not really any fault of the product, but my wish list for this product includes an easier way to tell from looking at the switch it’s on/off state. Also I wish they were oriented differently or had flexible orientation (I’d pay more.) The way my power strip is set up, the switch very slightly covers the next outlet. Still, they work for me, and were just what I needed.

Glaring design flaws. You can do better.
When I was in the market for this sort of thing a few weeks back, I couldn't tell from the reviews which one I would like best. I now own one of every type of pass-through plug-in switch that Amazon offers :) .. and I've formed a clear point of view on my preferences. Although high quality build, this model has glaring design flaws. There are less expensive alternatives that I vastly prefer, in particular the QVS PA-1P Single-Port Power Adapter with On/Off Switch, which sells here at Amazon for $2.99 as an add-on item. The biggest problem with the Leviton 1469 is that the switch tends to jump into the "on" position. Here's what's up with that: The switch is spring-loaded. To turn the switch one way, you have to press it all the way down until it "latches" (engages a detent). To turn it the other way, all you have to do is get it started. Once it escapes that detent, which takes the merest of taps, the internal spring takes it the rest of the way. Guess which way is the "easy" way? Right. On. So this makes me very nervous, because if pretty much anything touches or bumps the switch when it's in the off state, it going to turn itself on. Doesn't give me a warm feeling. Second, there's no way to tell whether it's on or off just by looking. I don't mean looking up close, I mean there's no indication whatsoever. My favorite of this sort of device has a built-in neon indicator that you can see from across the room, on when on and off when off. I find this very handy, being able to tell with a glance whether I've left something on (and also when I turn the lights off to leave the room it jumps out at me I forgot something). With certain kinds of loads this is even elevated to a safety feature, not just convenience. Other models have a molded-in indicator for on-off. This is definitely better than nothing, and nothing is what this Leviton 1469 has. If these things don't sound like a problem, you might really like this switch. The material quality and build is really good, befitting a brand like Leviton. Unfortunately they left the user experience person out of the design process.

ok quality, a little loose in socket
I bought two of these, for switching on dimmer floor lamps on which the dimmer circuit had been fried. Quality is good, except that one of the two wiggles a little out of the wall socket with each press, and has to be pushed back in occasionally. I'm wondering whether the 3-prong one from a different manufacturer that's also available on Amazon would stay in socket better. Initially noticed that the tactile and audible feedback is different in the off direction than in the on direction -- one direction has a satisfying snap that you've pushed the switch all the way, but the other direction has less of that feedback -- but that hasn't bothered me. Cosmetically, although they protrude a lot, the white ones look modern enough, even though they protrude significantly and are noticeable on the wall. One of the spots, a black one would blend in better, but they only have white and an off-white.

A great item! Super useful!
So much easier than plugging and unplugging the floor lamp and such.

I own 3 of these things
I love these switches. They're great for chargers- if your charger is plugged in and your device is not charging, the unit still sucks power. I'm lazy sometimes and don't always feel like unplugging my cell charger (as awful as that sounds), so I plug my charger into this switch and turn it off/on as needed. I use my other switches for lights- I have a Himalayan salt lamp with an annoying rotating circular dimmer switch. Instead of dealing with the annoying dimmer every time, I just leave the lamp at the setting I like, plugged in to one of these switches. Makes it easy to just switch the light on instead of rotating the silly dimmer. I have also used these switches with Christmas lights. That way you can leave them plugged in and just reach for the switch instead of plugging in/taking out the plug every time. In all, I love these guys. They're inexpensive and incredibly useful. I'd recommend them!

Nice little switch. Works great!
This is a very good switch. We had a touch lamp that broke. The touch mechanism broke so the only way to turn it on and off was to plug and unplug it into the socket. This is where this switch comes to the rescue. The only main downside is not the fault of the product itself but my own situation. I have it attached to a surge protector on the ground, which means that every time I have to turn on the light, I have to reach down. This will be the same situation with every switch of this kind. There are other switches out there with an extension cord, but you will still have problems placing the switch in a reachable position. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Dead on arrival.
The switch unit I received was dead on arrival. I tried it on different varieties of string lights and lamps. I was holding the Leviton brand to a higher standard and I'm disappointed. Hopefully it's an isolated case. Amazon couldn't offer a return/replacement option for this item directly from the orders. I've had to contact them, but eventually got a refund. I decided to look inside before recycling it. A metal spring arm is fixed to the plastic frame and makes contact with one of the two prongs. The rocker switch moves a plastic lever across the arm. In one position the arm rests against the contact, and in the other the lever pushes it away from the contact, opening the circuit. In the unit I received, the arm wasn't touching the contact at rest, so I bent the arm a bit and managed to restore working order. I don't know for how long. I thought I'd mention it if anyone else ends up receiving a broken unit.

Not as pictured
I am sure the product itself works okay, but it's not as pictured at all. I have Amazon send me another one and it was again exact same as the first one, and not as pictured. I needed this particular one due to the switch placement for a specific application, and that's not what I got.

Bastante útil
Lo uso muy seguido y aunque me gustaría que fuera un poco mas chico me ha funcionado muy bien y por los materiales parece que me durara bastante.
