Not perfect
It’s mostly insulated so it will keep my water cooler longer than nothing. It is thinner where the bottom meets the side, would be better if it had a buckle rather than a drawstring, it could be a little bigger around so that it doesn’t compress the insulation when loaded with a Nalgene bottle and cup. Would also be nice if there was a grommet to allow sweat from the bottle or outside moisture weep out. It works but I may need to make some improvements. For this reason it lost a star.

INSULATED | Fits NALGENE 32oz!
After seeing what other reviewers posted, about receiving a "random" or "different" COLOR from what's pictured, I received a GREEN (middle of the road shade, not Army green nor Grassy) color! | The cover is well made and fits my 32 ounce, wide mouth NALGENE water bottle perfectly. | I do have to slide the bottle up and down, but could add something in the bottom so I wouldn't have to. | PLUS: There is a round flap, that protects / insulates the TOP of the bottle also. I like that it can either be used or tucked down next to the side of the water bottle, as the flap is sewn in about 1" across the backside only. | Both the inner and outer sides are made of a WATERPROOF, nylon type material. I can hear the crunch, in between these 2 layers, of the material that is usually a silver and makes this INSULATED vs. just fabric. TIP: The "just" fabric version doesn't keep water cold, in the summer, and even with ice in it! | There is an extra cushion built into the bottom, along with a strap on the bottom, to put your hand through (as if holding the bottom of the bottle in the palm of your hand). With NO cardboard in its structure, it's 100% hand washable - YAH! | Would PURCHASE again.

Insulated sleeve
Insulated sleeve worked flawlessly. Kept the water in my Nalgene from freezing at 10f temperatures. Colors are a surprise when you get them so don't expect the one you see on the photo. Overall happy with the product. Cheap and it did what it was supposed to do. Would recommend.

Keeps my water COLD
I recently purchased an OKO water filtration bottle (which I love). The only problem with the bottle is that it has absolutely NO insulation. Within 2-3 hours my ice would be completely melted, and the water would rapidly work its way to room temperature. No good -- I'm an ice water drinker. I contacted OKO, and they recommended that I get an insulated carrier, and mentioned this cover along with 4 or 5 others. I liked the options on the Liberty Mountain carrier the best, so made the purchase. The insulation on this bottle carrier/cover is FANTASTIC!! I freeze a half bottle of water overnight, fill the bottle at 5:30 a.m. and slip the cover on. It's a little bit big, but not too bad. By the time I get home at 4:00 p.m. (10.5 hrs later) I STILL have ice in the bottle. Keep in mind, this is being used in an office setting. I'm sure that when used outdoors the ice will melt. But it's at least 500% better than the uninsulated bottle. I'm glad I bought it.

fits Nalgene 32 & 48 oz
I may add an extra star after I use it this weekend in the snow. For now it looks sturdy, is lightweight, and fits both a 32 oz & 48 oz Nalgene. For the 32 oz, it covers the whole bottle, including top, although there is a small slit. For the 48oz, it goes up to the bottom of the blue top. Although this will make it a little more awkward to drink out of the 32oz, I appreciate the flexibility. (I also got an olive green one, rather than the pictured orange. Thanks for altering me, previous reviewers!)

Using it for a 40 ounce Kleen Kanteen
Works just fine, after a lot of research it appears that the 40 oz Kleen Kanteen is the same diameter as a Nalgene bottle, so that opens up options for finding a carrier. This carrier seems to be well made and have decent insulation. Definitely saw my ice lasting longer. The big win was not having a puddle of condensation on my desk. The only issue to note is that the bag is pretty tall, so once you cinch it around the Kanteen, it can be hard to have any lip to drink from. I put a small towel in the bottom of the bag, which raises the bottle (and absorbs moisture), making it easier to drink from. This isn't a perfect solution for my purpose, but it works pretty good.

Great water cooler carrier - plus
Love this item... I had purchased a similar one smaller in Germany in 2001, but sadly the stitching at the bottom broke after 10 years. It had the styrofoam insulation and clip on the outside side to hook to a strap.. This one is larger, it will hold the Ozarka brand 23oz bottle. So far, it has kept the water cool for 2 hours. I have not yet had the opportunity to use the carrier for 5-6 hr. While traveling in Europe, I would purchase a coke and small sandwich and put them in the carrier to stay cool for lunch 5 hrs later. If this one works as well as my old one, I will definitely buy more for others to use traveling.
