This thing is spectacularly shiny. You could probably see it from space. You could also see the fingerprints that it easily picks up from space as well. In short, you need to find a place to put this, put it there, and then take a pair of gloves and a microfiber cloth and clean it. Then walk away, never touching it again. In all seriousness, this is a beautiful thing, and apparently it is food-safe. I just don't know that I'd have the heart to put a bunch of messy food in it. To me, this is more of a showpiece rather than a functional piece of serving ware. The irregular waves and edges do make this ever so much more interesting than a regular round bowl would be. Made of stainless, they were able to get the sides of the bowl very thin, yet retain the strength. It is much lighter than it could be, although the bottom gives it some heft and stability. At the end of the day, it's pretty awe-inspiring. I just may be too pragmatic to pay that kind of money for something that I'm not actually going to use.

The perfect gift to give at a wedding
This is a pretty elegant looking dish. It's modern yet classic. It has an impressive mirror finish that complements practically every style there is. It's also light weight but made from a high grade stainless so its durable. Honestly, to me this will be my go to gift for people starting out life. You can use this as a serving dish, an accent piece, a candle holder or even a key trey. It's elegant and piratical at the same time. I have only washed this by hand I don't know why you couldn't run it in a dishwasher but it is really easy to clean. I wouldn't recommend a soap that has any abrasiveness to it. If you get finger prints/ smudges on this the best way I found to get them off quickly was to use hand sanitizer.

Beautiful bowl
This really is a beautiful bowl. It's mirror-like shine offers a sophisticated decor to your house. It is pretty enough to be incorporated into your home decor. It's more lightweight than I expected, but feels quite durable. We'll be using this as a serving dish for parties. Beware - it will be a challenge to keep clean if you use this for every-day use. The mirror finish shows smudges very easily - it was hard to get rid of streaks even the first time I washed it. Pros: - Super shiny and reflective - Wavy pattern is pretty, but not too wavy to make it impractical to use as a bowl - Lightweight, yet durable Cons: - Shows fingerprints very easily

Lovely but Lightweight
The bowl is very lovely with its soft lines and beautiful bright finish and would make a lovely centerpiece with flowers or candles or greens, or in the bathroom with hand towels and soaps, etc. Apparently it is also food safe as its mentions using the bowl for salads which is a great plus. The bowl is made of top grade stainless steel and considering its size, reasonably lightweight, not as heavy as expected. I think it’s a bit overpriced at $79.99, but the bowl is lovely.

Absolutely gorgeous display piece
I also have a much smaller version of this bowl, and the two of them look beautiful together. This large, show piece of a bowl really attracts attention. Though it is a very simple design, the flawless beauty of it really shines through. It is a brilliantly shiny, glimmering, perfect stainless steel surface and the way the edge waves, really works beautifully with the way that the bowl itself catches the light. This is perfect for holding fruit or other non-scratchy decorative or practical items in the house. I have had other bowls like this in the past that did get scuffed in time, so I would suggest using little caution in how you store things in it or wash it, but upon receipt it is absolutely perfect and would definitely make a stunning and eye-catching gift. I have little oranges and this, and walnuts in my small version.

Lovely Bowl!!!
This Lipper International Stainless steel Bowl is just a great addition to any space. This bowl features a curved edge is made of 18/8 steel. The super shiny mirrored finish can add such an elevated feel to any space you put this in. I have found that this bowl is quiet lightweight but very sturdy indeed. These are best used with a dry item such as fruit, hair ties, candy or treats. This is not intended for anything hot to be put inside and is to be hand washed with a mild dishsoap in warm soapy water and to be hand dried immediately after washing.

highly reflective and gorgeous
The media could not be loaded. love this! It's so reflective it's like a mirror. I put glass fruit inside and it reflects their colors and textures. It's just the right size for fruit, too. The look of this bowl is like art, even empty. Between the curving edge and the incredible sheen it's just pretty to look at. The only downside is that it does get fingerprints all over it. So I wouldn't recommend it in situations where it would need to be handled.

Expecting something more dramatic
Given the price and description, I was expecting a showier piece. It could be a very useful bowl if you need one. It is an attractive serving bowl that could hold a variety of things: fruit, food, pine cones, Christmas ornaments, whatever. However, it is not something I would use it as a show piece on a shelf. It is very shiny with a mirror like finish, but the wavy edges are not very dramatic, just a bit wavy. It does not evoke a sescape for me. It could be an attractive serving piece with the right dishes or an occasional bowl to hold display items, but I find the price a bit expensive for something that is nice but not really special.
