Non-standard plug, had to return
Ordered this because it said it was universal. It looked almost identical to the pump I was replacing. Once it arrived and I began unboxing it, I realized that while the pump was indeed similar and in theory would have worked... the power plug was a non-standard plug. I would have had to splice a new plug to the unit or found a weird conversion piece. Decided this was not worth the hassle so I am returning the item (which so far, Amazon is allowing and has been super easy). Would have been nice to seen this noted *anywhere* on the advertisement, product information, or photographs as I could have saved us all time and frustration.

Read before you buy
Well, had this pump for about six months. Used in a cooler, so use has been inconsistent. O ring failed above impeller. This apparently has caused the impeller to grind to a halt. Found the warranty and yea...it is valid for a year! However........now I have to box it up and pay for shipping to their 1 and only location for them to inspect and make sure I didn't do anything to invalidate their warranty! And how long will that take? Let's see, it is over 100 outside and we really need the cooler. Next one will be purchased after looking at the warranty and then buying from a reputable retailer that handles ANOTHER brand.
