this is great!!!

I was about to rent a foam machine for 500$ but instead decided to give this one a try. I must say i have been impressed. the amount of foam this machine puts out is great! i only recommend you get some sort of inflatable pool to put around the foam to keep it contained so it can grow very high.... Definetely recomment and am glad it worked.

Great machine for parties

The product assembled easily and fairly quickly considering we did not try it out prior to the party we bought it for. We set it up to spray foam into a borrowed bounce house and after some adjustments managed to get most of it to spray into the bounce house and not on the ground. The kids were having a blast for about 2 minutes until they all got it in their eyes and We had to hose off faces and I tossed a dish towel in so that they could wipe their eyes. Then they started inhaling/swallowing some accidentally. One child coughed for the next 2 hours and went home complaining about a sore throat. My child threw up. Then we read the warnings on the bottle about not ingesting it and to was eyes for 10-15 mins if the solution gets in there. Luckily, the quick rinses we’d been doing were fine, but overall I’m not at all impressed with the solution. Would have expected it to be nontoxic like kids bubble solution. That said, the machine worked great and all but one kid stroll had a great time, so in The future we will try out the suggestion in many of the reviews to use baby shampoo. I’m sure that will be easier on the eyes and taste buds!

Works well but overpriced.

It was pretty easy to assemble and worked well but I think it’s overpriced. Not only that but the foam solution you have to buy for it is $20 a bottle and it gives you about 20 minutes of foam. The foam lasts for another 15 minutes or so, maybe depending on how many kids you have playing in it. We had about six kids so that’s all the longer it lasted. It be great if the solution was cheaper because the kids really enjoyed it but who wants to pay $60 for an hour of playtime?

Almost more fun to watch!

We've used this three times since we got it in late July - huge hit with kids from 13 to 3! We used cheap baby shampoo instead of just the solution that comes with it (not name brand stuff, get the value brands) and we mix it about six parts water to soap using the containers it came in. Works perfect, rinses off quick when they are done playing, doesn't kill grass or plants - just perfect. You stop/start it using the GFCI switches on the pump and blower independently, so you may need an extension cord with a three prong splitter at the end. Given the GFCI elements on the ends of the plugs - you need something with a lot of space to plug both cords in - so order one if you need it.

IMPORTANT TIP! Please read! :)

Another reviewer had a great suggestion: use 5 bottles of baby soap instead of the foam refill. After using a few dollar store brands, the best brand to use is Walmart’s Parent’s Choice baby soap! It’s only $1 each bottle, like the dollar store! Reason it’s the best is that it lasts longer! The other brands, maybe 10 minutes max. This was almost 20 minutes of foam fun! I even asked the kids if they wanted me to turn it off since there was like a mountain of foam! Lol :) So just my suggestion: try Parents Choice baby shampoo from Walmart if you want a longer foam fun! EDIT FROM 1 YEAR OF HAVING THIS: This thing just keeps giving and giving! We absolutely love it. We break it out every time kids come over and prop it up inside our large water slide. The kids love playing in the water and being covered in foam! I have discovered a way to make the bubbles last longer: I dump 6 bottles of Parents Choice Tear Free baby soap and stir with my hand to make nice and foamy. As the water / foam disappears, I pour additional bottles of the soap into the bin and stir in with more water. I let the water almost go to the top. So we get over 30 minutes of foam fun! I think the one key is stirring with my hand, and making it as foamy as possible. Just wanted to share! It’s super fun and thank you Little Tykes for an amazing product!

Bought for schools end of year water party!

Bought for schools end of year water party and the kids loved it. We used all summer at home. We used baby soap from Walmart and it was cheap and worked perfectly! We did put up slightly wet after we rinsed soap of everything and one or some of the legs got rusty. Despite this, I would still buy just know to have it completely dry before putting away.

Super fun, but mixing correct ratio could be made fool-proof

Nice product, got on sale so thought it was affordable, but probably wouldn't pay full price. The mixing instructions are not great, they tell you to pour the foamo solution (liquid soap basically) into the bin and then fill the jugs with water a number of times - unfortunately, because there was soap in the bottle, it foams up and it is hard to tell accurately how much water you're actually adding because the bottle is opaque. I think it's a ploy so if you overdilute you run to the store to buy more solution (though adding some dish soap worked just fine). Why there isn't just a fill like built in or marked on the tub is perplexing. I converted the measurements to liters and it worked out nice for a measured bucket I had. Made for a fun day - I think my toddlers ask me almost daily to have another foam party!

Somewhat complicated to use

First of all the legs keep falling off. Once you put the machine together - there are 2 cords with plugs - so it adds a lot of electrical hazard - water and electricity do not mix well. The on and off buttons are separate for the pump and blower part. So if you turn on the pump before the blower - it sucks up the water and wastes it pretty quickly. The plug parts are fairly large - so both of them do not git onto one standard outlets. The foam itself is pretty good, the machine makes a bunch of foam really fast. The mix solution is fairly thick and not scented - it kind of smells like chemical. I like that the machine has carrying and storage tote.
