My wife absolutely loves this product for clean all of her Cast-Iron and non Cast-Iron pots and pans.

Works well for stuck on stuff

Got greasy buildup, stuck on food, crusties? This will get it off easily and keep your cast iron looking and working perfectly. Get a little too aggressive? Just touch up your seasoning after and it’s good as new. Don’t believer old hearsay and wife’s tales, cast iron can and should be cleaned with soapy water. Just dry completely and reseason lightly when needed. If soap and water or a little elbow grease takes your seasoning off, you didn’t season it properly. This tool works as intended. It is a little stiff and awkward to handle when new, but still does it’s job.

Highly recommend

Totally makes cleaning my cast iron easy. The middle is rubber, not sponge, so it doesn't get gross with food stuck in it. Everything rinses right out of it. Great purchase.

This scrubber beats the knockoffs

So glad I got this! I first bought a cheaper one (which looks just like this one) and returned it for the Lodge brand scrubber, which is much better quality and totally worth a few extra dollars. The inside rubber pad is nice and stiff and the chain metal stays in place which makes it fast and easy to scrape burnt bits off my cast iron skillet. So far, 2 months of almost daily use and its just like new.

First time using

I thought this could be replacement for steel pad you can buy in the grocery. I found this chain mail scrubber is good at getting large, burnt-on grim off a pot/pan, but it does not leave me confident the pot/pan is clean. It does seem like it will hold-up for a very long time, much longer than a steel pad would hold up. I believe the purpose of this chain mail scrubber is just to get the caked-on junk off and to protect the seasoning/finish on a pan. The verdict is still out on whether it will be useful to me on not, but I have one other use for it and this is to clean the gas grill cast iron grates. If it can do that then it will worth its price.

It works

This works well for cleaning cast iron pots, without damaging it. I liked the size but I felt it was a little pricey for what you get. I do not know how long the inner pad will last but it seems well made. I would recommend this.

Excellent Product

Have been using this product on my cast irons for a few months now. Happy to report its gentle on the cast iron and effectively removes baked on materials. The product also holds up well in the dishwasher making it convenient to keep clean.

Worth the overly expensive pricetag. Great for scraping labels off glass jars too
