It is SOOOO loud

I had noticed some people mentioned this was loud. I thought they were exaggerating or just picky, but it is loud. With this outside my house, 30 feet away, I can hear this running in my well insulated home with double pane windows in an interior room not attached to the outside wall. I can walk down the street and I can hear it running 4+ houses away. I wanted this for a Halloween decoration but it would be hard to hear the kids and annoying to the neighbors. Maybe a redesign on the fan blades would help.

The Sky Dancer Fan Has a Specific Use...

The media could not be loaded. This fan moves a LOT of air, and makes a LOT of noise. You probably aren't going to use this in your house. But, it works perfectly for inflating a 20 ft. Sky Dancer, or for use with a Party Machines DIY foam machine kit. This is the one you want! We bought our fan for a foam machine, but also picked up a sky dancer inflatable. The fan works great for both of them!

Lasts 10 months at best

Get the insurance. I've purchased this unit 4x in the past 3 years. It lasts 10 months at best.

Great and handles rain just fine.

Great fan. It works reliably and it has gotten rained on and kept working great.

No variable speed depending on model

It's not bad. Made mostly of plastic, but seems sturdy. I returned it (18 inch waterproof model) because it was variable speed and was way too loud to use at/in a home. I had planned to use it as a window fan for smoke.

Defective product

I ordered this display for our music fest and when it arrived it was broken in the box. Very disappointed as I needed it for a special event and now have nothing. Very angry and sad
