Improper shipping means you'll likely get a cracked frame. BEAUTIFUL - IF you get an undamaged one.
IF your arrives undamaged, the frame is great! It looks good. Nice frame width. Matt black finish is nice. The cardboard backing is high quality - almost like thin particle board. This means it is sturdy, and holds your print snug. The plastic ("glass") front is nice. But, I highly recommend NOT peeling off the protective full that covers both sides of the "glass" front. Why? Because with it left ON, reflections are virtually eliminated, meaning you can see your poster clearly without interruption. Or distracting reflections, especially from light sources. :) The hangers on the back are quality, and so easy to use. It'd be easier to use of the table on the back weren't so firmly pressed against the back - Is extremely digitally to peel them up, even using the thin metal file from by fingernail Clippers. My fingernails were no match. You'll definitely need to peel all of them 100% back. Anything less, and you won't be able to get the strong cardboard back into the frame. The tabs are string and good quality. Now for issues: SHIPPING IS AWFUL. I ordered 3, on separate orders. 1 was fine! :) 1 had 2 nicked corners :-(( 1 was cracked. UNACCEPTABLE. no way to touch it up. This France, since it was cracked, meant that another corner was also loose, so that the entire frame came apart when I took the cardboard frame off. This one HAD to be returned. The awful thing about it is that I have to pay shipping to return a DAMAGED product. And shipping costs as much as the product itself. UNACCEPTABLE. Thing is, they purposely shipped in unacceptable packaging. They know it is inadequate and cannot guarantee arrival without damage, but they don't care. It's an acceptable Los to them. They know it's not worth it to us to return, so they don't spend the extra few cents it would take to properly put Styrofoam corners on the frame corners :(( Because of this, I would NOT order again. Your odds of receiving an undamaged product are too low. IF they fixed the shipping issue, I would definitely order again.

Above the rest - by far!
I've ordered several frames/posters from Am over the last few weeks, beefing up the movie room walls. This particular brand is far & away above the rest! The plexiglass is protected by film on both sides, is far more flexible (one from a different brand cracked while merely installing the poster, rendering that purchase 100% worthless), the frame on this brand is very sturdy, and even the little hanger things on the back appear to be stronger, less flimsy, thicker maybe. The backs of the other brands is simply cardboard, but on this brand, it's very, very sturdy material - dunno what it is, but it's really strong. I've got another by this brand arriving today and in the future, I'm only buying this brand. This one is far superior, in every way, to it's competitors.

A little cheap but gets the job done
You get what you pay for! This was on the flimsy side and I did not realize it was not glass. The clear cover was super staticky so every little piece of lint would get trapped between the plastic and the picture. I was just framing a recent completed puzzle so I wasn’t looking for anything fancy. This frame got the job done.

Perfect
This size is so odd to find in stores, I don't know why Shutterfly uses this as their "poster size" instead of 24x36. Still, after trying to find the product came swiftly and no damage to any of the frames. It's more sturdy than the Ribba frames from ikea. Perfect for what I was looking for. Packaging was a little suspect. It was just a cardboard box with no padding (the frame itself is shrinkwrapped only). But as I said, everything came with no damage, so wasn't a big deal. And it cuts down on waste, so that's nice. But I'm definitely not loving that the price jumped $5 in a day though (no it wasn't on sale, so I'm glad I bought it when I did). I was going to buy a few more, but now I'm holding off.

Very faulty frame with a lot of defects
I gave two stars. If what they sent was something else but a frame, I would give one star. So they do send frames. I purchased a used one with very good condition. This frame should have at most a few scratches cosmetically, nothing broken or factory defected. I was shipped quick. I received it in a nice package (a very big one even) which was great. I opens the box, the frame was cracked (see the photo). I was like ‘shoot, anyway it is OK I am not gonna return it for this because it is a big piece and i dont want to deal with re packing etc, moreover it will stay behind the picture’… Then, I have put the picture and hanged it to the wall. What do I see? There is a huge defect at the plastic cover (it is a weird plastic’s solidification error or something as if while plastic cover was being made something contaminated the plastic.). And in addition to this, I also realized that there is another permanent damage over the plastic cover which looks like it was rubbed to somewhere. Yeah it is a very bad feeling being have to have this junk on my wall. I can return it but, Ups pick up only works during my work hours. It is a big piece and I have trashed the boxes. I have tried to talk to the company. I was going to ask for a new cover plastic, which would solve most of the issues, but I couldn’t find a way to reach them. Have fun if you still would like to but it. Perhaps you may be luckier.

Really happy with this purchase, a nice frame for a great price!
I love when deals you think might be too good to be true are actually true! This isn't a $100 frame or anything, but it's really nice and well built! I needed just a nothing frame for a poster in my kids area, I didn't want just a cheap thin border type of frame though. This is a wood frame and looks great to be honest, it was packed/shipped EXTREMELY WELL too, I was really surprised it was so well packed. The box did get dented in shipping but there was no issue with the frame, like I said, it was packed well and looked perfect when opened. Very happy here with this really nice frame for a really good price, one of the best deals I've had recently to be honest. Thanks!

Frame is fine but packaging was inadequate. When I removed the cellophane and the picture back the frame came apart.

Utilitarian & Practical
Not particularly well made. The backboard barely fit into the frame, it was a struggle to remove it & then I needed to shave it down by at least 1/4 inch to fit it back in the frame. Given price point - quality should be better.
