Deceptive Picture - Nice Girly Comforter

First to warn you but most Women probably already know, the picture of this product is a King Size comforter on a Queen bed. So pay attention to actual dimensions when ordering. I have this in quest room on a Queen and wanted a "shorter" fir as its an antigue bed with side rails, large head board and foot board that rises just above the box spring. So this comforter on that Queen bed, just about makes it over the front of the matress and about an inch or so short of the head board and on the sides it does cover the matress sides but thats it. No other "overflow". Thats not a bad thing, its just depends on the look you want and this was wll designed for exactly the type of bed and frame I was putting it on. the lace and trim are nice, the darker blue sections which are "floral" part of the design are nice but not as vibrant as I expected they would be, the lighter blue design in the middle is very nice and has nice color. Pillow cases are just as described for the comforter but the full ruffly design going around is really nice. The 2 pillows are pretty nice, they were vacuumed sealed flat but fluff up right away with a little help, they should have made 3 rather than 2 but oh well. This is not a heavy duty comforter. I have other ones which are much heavier than this. The insulation may be better in this one which is what counts. Its not thin but its not really plushy, but it is soft and padded. With a blanket and this you should be very warm in bed, but to each their own. I didn't buy it to be a big thick bulky comforter. Its looks great on the bed as is but I do think they fluffed it up some how in the picture because mine is not that plush, maybe because it just came out of the bag? All in all very happy with the whole thing. It really is very "Girly" so keep that in mind, but thats why I got it!

Second Time Purchasing

When redoing a room in 2015, I purchased this set for our new king sized bed. The look was perfect. I never used the euro pillow covers and ended up giving them away. My husband works in construction, and would often come home and crash after being up since 4am. This caused me to wash the set frequently. I just purchased this replacement set because the old one started ripping around the top but in a way that if I sewed it, the whole thing would then be too short for my bed. The colors did fade after these 6 years and multiple washes, but the look was still amazing. I searched for a replacement and was happy to see Amazon carried the same exact one. It washed nicely, but needs to be pressed. It does wrinkle easily. I recommend this to anyone. Photo is from a different perspective. I just didn’t want to leave the bed to take a photo of the bed all made! :)

Comforter

This is not worth 100. I mean, it’s nice but when you wash it, it is very wrinkled. The small pillows need to be put in the dryer to fluff them up. It is a little heavy. Not a summer comforter.

Beautiful and such a comfortably warming appearance

I’ve watched this comforter online for several weeks. I really wanted it but it was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay. I finally took a small risk and ordered one that was listed under “used” but labeled as “like new” due to “damages to the package during shipping”. There was NO evidence of damage to the product when I received it. I was pleased that I took the risk. I paid $100 versus the $135. The comforter, shams and pillows are elegant and appear as pictured online. Comforter lays well, shams came wrinkle-free, decorative pillows not real plump yet solidly elegant. I did have to iron the bedskirt and overall very satisfied with this product because it does resemble the picture from which I ordered it from.

Pretty comforter

Pretty, llghtweight and warm, but the cotton fabric lends to much wrinkling. When it arrived it was extremely wrinkled and took a steamer both front and back to get them all out so it would lie flat. Problem is, I sleep under it! This means it wrinkles with use, not to the degree it was on arrival, but wrinkles nonetheless. Would have liked it more had the fabric been microfiber, which doesn't wrinkle so easily.

Love the patterns and colours. Looks great on my double bed. Comes with 3 pillows, 2 shams and 2 pillow cases, and the skirt. It has a bit of lace trim but not too feminine looking. Comforter is thick but not too heavy.

Didn’t take out of the packaging as it was the wrong colour. I would say it’s more of a greeny blue, rather than a pale blue. Didn’t match with the pale blue I already have in the bedroom. It looked lovely tho.
