Great model car for our son

I purchased this model car for my son who has many issues. Although this is a simple model to build, there are some challenges. He has some fine motor skill issues so I applied the decals, i.e., the mirrors, the license plate and the speedometer display. He also needed my assistance for the inner door attachment. I also needed to help him on how to insert the front light part. He has a low IQ but is verbally close to normal. He was able to get just about everything else together and so had success. This was important for him. He had tried another glue and paint automobile model in the past and he gave up. It was significantly more complicated for him. This was the right level and allowed him to succeed. It also looks good although one door is a bit loose, i.e., has a large gap when closed but otherwise it looks good and is sturdy, since the body is built of metal. So for those who have children who are challenged by more difficult models, this is a good option. The color of the car was yellow not light blue but otherwise it is as pictured.

Easy, fun build and it works & looks great

I picked this little project up with a couple of Revell's and I believe Maisto has a new life customer. As the model is die-cast, it's obviously more durable than the plastic models out there, but it also looks exponentially better as well. The build is fairly easy; I only had a hard time placing the seats which really just requires good pressure and a bit of finesse. Additionally, the engine bay and scissor doors are fully movable, so with a little imagination you feel like you're really looking at a real Murcielago, miniaturized of course. Great build for beginner's, and though it's not nearly complicated enough to satisfy veterans, it will look fantastic among the rest of your collection, so if you've got extra cash bumming around, pick this up. Do note that the pictures on here are of the model feature ON the box, which is the light blue, whereas the actual model is orange; at least that's the color of the kit I received.

Great Display

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 14 year old brother who is just starting to get into collecting and building model sport cars. He said this was a little challenging to put together... yet he completed it in about 40 minutes or less. He is happy with the display look of this model and has it sitting out on his bedroom dresser. It is made from pretty good materials. This car will last awhile. I will probably end up buying a different model from this same brand for him again.

Not 1:24 and half the weight of a Jada car

The product is considerably smaller than other 1:24 cars. Also, I placed the same car from Jada on a scale and then this one. The Jada car was twice as heavy. If you like quality cars that have the heavy die cast feel, this car is not for you.

Beautiful Car in real life...

So I purchased 3 of these for myself and friends. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I am missing a part from the model. Not a big deal you might say, but when the entire kit consists of less then 40 parts, 1 missing part is unacceptable. The hardest thing about this model is removing the screwdriver from the packaging. The parts are ill fitting, there are gaps in the parts after they are assembled where there shouldn't be. Don't go by the pictures at all. They are of some other model by some other company apparently. This model has NO side windows, the color is NOT blue, I knew that from reading earlier reviews though, and the pieces that move are so floppy that there is no effort to open or close anything, they just flop... Build time is less then 10 minutes after removing everything from the packaging.

This is a nice toy; the color is not as pictured; but I knew that already from the other reviews. It's not complicated, and nice looking when finished.
