Odd Shoulders

Pros: Fabric was great, super warm, flattering length and style was very trendy Cons: Shoulder seam for arm was a "drop" shoulder I think, only with the fabric it didn't so much drop as it stuck out and sagged at a very odd angle. Shoulder pads would have helped this drape much better Overall: had to return because of shoulder issue, otherwise I would have loved to keep it

Tall girls beware

Beautiful coat and nice heavy fabric. I am 5’11 and the sleeves were 3-4 inches too short, so long armed or long torso’d women buy with caution. Size chart for 3x says it fits 22-28 US but it definitely isn’t true to size and only fits a size 22 I’d say. Nice room and comfortable in shoulder chest area. I am returning mine due to flaw on the white pleather trim.

Awkward, needs lining

Wool feels stiffer than I would like, with no lining, making this rather itchy. I ordered down a size, as reviews indicated it was bigger than expected, and it fits well. Not something I would wear for longer periods of time.

I Want the TV Version, Not....Whatever This Is

The TV version fit the models perfectly. I drooled over it and immediately purchased it. Even the pictures/video for the Amazon listing for this coat make it look unique and fitted. Imagine my disappointment when I tried on the coat and it was unlike the cute TV version. The coat is not lined and is itchy. Fine, I could live with that if it FIT. I'm a size 10, ordered a Large and was swimming in it. Even belted, it felt like an oversized bathrobe. The shoulders....man oh man, they're not flattering. They're oversized, boxy, and just don't lay right. The material of the black/white stripes seems plasticky and not luxe. I LOVED the TV version of this coat but sadly, this mass-produced, accessible version will be returned asap. Great design, poor execution. Still contemplating buying a smaller size.

Nice coat, bad fit

This is a nice coat, but the fit is weird. The drop shoulder makes the silhouette too boxy IMO, almost like it’s fit for men. It’s too bad because I like the material (a nice, thick wool blend) and design, but I personally wish it had a liner since wool can be a little itchy.

May return it. Still deciding.

The coat isn’t what I expected. On Andreas coat the black stripe was embroidered. The shoulders fit weird. I thought they would hang differently. I will hang it in my closet and try it on again. Maybe tomorrow, I will like it better. The pockets are a nice size.

Did I totally misread the sizing guide?

Judging by other reviews I did not. This is my 1st purchase off the show and sadly it might be my last. I mean I know I'm purchasing an "accessible" look but this truely seems like just a cheap knock off. When I first put it on my immediate thought was that I look like a child dressing up in my father's clothes. I like oversized jackets and don't mind the drop shoulder but it just doesn't work with this jacket. I do like the weight of the wool but it needs to be lined. It did not feel good to put on at all. I'll try it on with a few outfits and see if my mind changes but most likely I will return this jacket of I can.

Great on the show, disappointing in person

I SO wanted to like this coat. I loved it on the show. Unfortunately it has some major flaws. For one, the wool material is very thick and stiff, so the coat doesn't lay great when on and just has a really bulky look. Also, its very scratchy, as some wool can be, and this coat is completely unlined. In my life I don't think I've ever seen an unlined wool coat, until now. It is very uncomfortable. Lastly, the shoulders are oddly broad and droop in a very unflattering way. It reminds me exactly of that broad shouldered grey jacket on Making the Cut this season (I can't remember who made it), the one the judges hated and ripped apart because of the droopy shoulders. Oh the irony.

Beautiful design but...

I so wanted to love this coat but it's not lined!! The end result is that the wool is scratchy on the arms and where it touches the legs . Additionally , because of the lack of lining the coat is quite floppy ! I so wanted to support this designer who I think is amazing and inclusive. I would have paid more for the same coat if it had a good lining.

Nice but huge shoulders

It was lovely and we'll made but the drop shoulder were huge and very wide. The waist fit well though. Because of this I looked tiny in it (like a kid in parent clothes) and sizing down wouldn't help as the waist would be too small so I ended up returning it.

Nice colour and design, was excited about this purchase. Tried it on and it was really scratchy due to no lining.

Der Schnitt ist grauenhaft und er kratzt

Also Mal ehrlich weder der Schnitt noch das Material haben etwas mit dem Mantel aus der Sendung zu tun. Der Mantel in 3xl passt an Bauch und Hüfte perfekt, aber an den Schultern ist er auf jeder Seite 10cm zu breit geschnitten. Dazu kommt daß sehr kratzige Material, dass den Mantel quasi untrag Ar macht. Ich hatte so auf einen weichen Mantel gehofft, a er den Mantel hatte sich das Model in der TV Show sicherlich nicht kuschelig ins Gesicht gezogen...

Wanna look like a football player?

Alright, real talk here. I watched the show, fell in love with this coat, and was so happy to see it was available for purchase. When I finally got it yesterday I tried it on and OMG all the NO. Even the whole sizing down recommendation will not save the look. It made my shoulders 3 times as wide and was floor length (I'm 5'5" for reference). I looked ready to hit the football field, or have a bath with this robe. All around unflattering - not to mention uncomfortable, itchy and could have used a lining for the price. Ladies, do yourselves a favor, hit CANCEL this order. I hope this helps you make an informed decision.
