I really like these curtains. Not overly simple, but not overly formal, either.

These MARTHA STEWART Sherwood Velvet Grommet Window Curtains are very beautiful and have a classic feel to them that really works well in my dining room. While they have raised areas of "velvet" on the pattern, they don't look or feel so heavy and thickly "velvet" like some other curtains I've had that I got tired of. They seem to be easier to keep dust free than my previous velvet ones, and I really love the color - and speaking of which, I don't think of the color as a "teal" as there isn't really any kind of strong green tone to them (I think of teal as more of a blue-green), imo. To me, they're almost kind of like a smokey blue - but I'm fine with that and it works well for me. You may want to keep that in mind, however, if you're trying to specifically match certain color tones. The dimensions are as described, and they also look nice with adding sheer curtains if you need to. I like that they are a little more formal than plain curtains, but still aren't overly stifling, and they work year-round. I find them slightly elegant in a subtle way, and they can work well universally in just about any room you place them in. They also appear to be well made, and there were no flaws or threads hanging out on them where they shouldn't be. They get two thumbs up from me!

An exciting pair of curtains

These are fantastic curtains. Lovely color. I am thrilled by the semi-sheer velvetty goodness, it reminds me of my childhood and of my love for semitransparent things. These curtains let in enough light in the bright mornings and provide a sense of private ambiance in the evenings. They are lightweight - both in mass and transparency. Excited that I accidently ordered the wrong length for my living room and can use in my bedroom.

Simple Effectiveness

Lovely curtains which are well made and good quality as we expect from Martha. A very nice design. Also, the curtains are lighter than one might think which is nice. Certainly makes hanging them easier and also they'll react to airflow much easier, which I like but if not then a heavier curtain will be for you. Very nice curtains. A good deal. :)

Elegant looking curtains

These are such beautiful curtains! They are not incredibly heavy and they have a velvety feel (just the pattern, not the entire curtain). I have a double rod so I placed a set of white sheer curtains underneath these and the look is just so elegant. So happy with these!

Gorgeous curtains

These are a beautiful set of curtains. They are a raised velvet pattern, and could either go glam or vintage in decor in my opinion (I plan to hang them in an MCM living room with a pink velvet couch…) but really are neutral enough to go anywhere. They have metal grommets. The backs are plain and ugly, so these are the type of curtains I would use a double curtain rod for, and do sheers on the other side, just to soften the look from the outside.

Not quite the color as in the photo

The color in the photo they posted is much more vibrant. These panels are not so much. They are very pretty though and well made with a thick material that has a bit of see through to them.
