This is great in that you can decide what combination you want to use to open the lock. And you can change it easily The lock seems a little weak, and I am pretty sure I could pick it if you pull and roll numbers. I’ll need to try and update review. I use it to lock a gate on my farm where occasionally I need to give combinations to contractors. And I want to change it after work is completed Meets my needs to keep casual trespassing people from opening farm gates

Works for a kids bike

My kid is thrilled to have his own bike lock. The combination, vs a key, makes it much easier for a kid to operate and not lose the key. I’m not sure this is the most secure lock (how hard would it be to cut?), but I feel ok about using this lock at the bike rack at school where staff have windows looking out in the bikes and there is video surveillance.

Easy to use

My first ever bike lock I've used and it was extremely easy to use. From the time I opened the package to getting it assembled and setting my pin took no time at all. It's a very thick sturdy lock as well but still lightweight so it isn't a hassle to carry around with you. Definitely a fan of this lock.

Sturdy and easy to change combo

Bought for my kid to lock up his bike when out and about. The combination is super easy to set. The lock looks sturdy and will likely cause the criminal looking for an easy target to move on, though a motivated thief would not have much trouble cutting a cable with wire cutters. Good general security and happy with the purchase.

Strong and Heavy Duty

Wow, much better than expected and a lot more heavy duty and the carrying feature is a real bonus. I’m going to order one for my wife’s bike as well.

Good but heavy

It’s everything that they claim. But it is pretty heavy for a cable lock. Hopefully it equates to strength. I wouldn’t want to lug it around everywhere. It’s fine for me because I just leave it at work.

Heavy and Stiff

Seems very heavy duty, but it’s like fighting a boa constrictor to get it to go where you want it to. Also, a little on the heavy side if you’re concerned about extra weight on your bicycle.

Works perfect for what I bought it for

Bought this to serve two purposes, one: to lock our helmets to my motorcycle when inside stores, restaurants and hotels. Two: to lock up our bikes when at similar places or while on the bike rack and traveling. Worked perfectly.

Very Disappointed - poor quality

I was very disappointed in this Master lock. I purchased it because of the Master brand and previously good experience with their locks. It only took a week to notice the deficiencies. The lock began to wobble back and forth in the supplied attachment device fixed to my bike frame. This was annoying and interfered with pedaling. The problem is the way the plastic catch on the cable that slots into the attachment device. The single screw that fixes the catch to the cable had enlarged the hole plastic sleeve of the cable. I tried tightening it (carefully) but it did not fix the problem. It still wobbled. Tonight, as I handled the lock (now in my backpack not on the bike) the catch cracked and came apart in two pieces. The design of the catch and the attachment are substandard and clearly will not endure any wear and tear. I noticed that other reviews had identified difficulties opening the lock after setting the combination. I had difficulties initially. The problem seems to be that if the pin that enters the lock and the mechanism are not accurately aligned the lock mechanism is not free to open. This was alarming at first but now, although its fiddly, the lock will open reasonably well. I have had combination locks like this before and they were not as tricky. Overall, I was very disappointed with this lock
